It is surely a happy day in the house of Linus.
PR/Media Executive Linus Idahosa – the husband of Nollywood actress Stephanie Okereke-Linus was recently awarded a combined doctorate degree by the Commonwealth University Belize and the London Graduate School Convocation in Dubai.
Stephanie who wed Linus on Saturday 21st April 2012 in a beautiful grand ceremony in Paris, France, took to social networking site Facebook to share her joy. She said “Congratulations to my hubby on his conferred combined Doctorate Degree by the Common Wealth University Belize and the London Graduate School Convocation in Dubai – Hello Dr. Linus Idahosa!”.
A huge congratulations to Dr. Linus Idahosa and Stephanie, who was also given a honorary award on Friday 6th July 2012 at the University of Calabar, which she graduated from in 2004, with a degree in English and Literary Studies.

What kind of Pangolo degree be this? Commonwealth University of Belize! I am shaking my head. What does this guy want to the with that useless degree from such a crap university, except to call himself doctor. Nigerians please go to a decent university not crap ones that you can write rubbish thesis and get a doctorate degree so cheaply..

SO WHAT? As long as he leaves the university with KNOWLEDGE that he can impart to others…Where is your Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Brown, Oxford, Cambridge, NYU degrees? Where e dey? Instead of congratulating someone for the great work they’ve done, na beans to study for PH.D? If na so, how come many more people don’t have it? At least, I know he earned it from those universities as opposed to the ones buying theirs in Nigeria. Abeg, give respect where respect is due and stop trying to qualify someone’s work according to your own personal standards. Who cares if he does it just to be called DR? He paid for those degrees, he put in the time to study! If he wants to wipe his behind with the degree afterwards or hang it at the front of his gate for all to see, that na him business not yours and certainly not mine. There are many doctors who go to med school in small caribbean islands because they are affordable, is the human body different to them than to those who studied at Harvard? Don’t despise people’s humble beginnings, you don’t know what the Lord is going to do with them.
