The 2012 Miss World pageant currently is taking place in Ordos, China. “Challenge Events” including Miss World Top Model, Miss World Sports and Fitness, Miss World Performing Talent and Miss World Beach Fashion Challenge are being completed prior to the finale on the 18th of August 2012.
Our Nigerian beauty queen, Damiete has been shortlisted in the following events – she is one of the 40 finalists for the Beach Fashion Challenge and also one of the 47 finalists for the Top Model Challenge Event.

From the night of the MGBN, I knew she was the winner. I don’t know how come Isabella got the crown, but I’m happy God restored it to its rightful owner. She’s so cute and intelligent. I wish her the very best in the pageant.
She looks malnourished. I wonder the mindset of grown men who will sit down to gape at under developed females and select her in the name of pageants. I have nothing against the budding young girl. First of all, a lot of what you’ve called “God’s work” is really the work of some plastic surgeon. You should not put down any woman’s body shape or size; being curvy or fleshy does not make you any more of a woman than a woman who isn’t. God created them all the way they are and they are all gorgeous, skinny, curvy or straight. I don’t understand why people give skinnier women such a hard time, if it’s the way their maker created them then you have no place telling them they are not “womanly”. Its insulting and rude.
