TW Magazine’s July/August 2012 double Issue is definitely one of this year’s hottest issues.
The Mavin Records Family comprising Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid, D’Prince and Wande Coal are all glam and dapper on the cover and inside the new issue. The super music group open up about their individual music careers and how it feels to be a part of the successful collaboration.
The magazine is also fully packed with insightful features like He Said/She Said: Should expensive gifts be returned after a break up and tips on getting your groove back after having a baby, vibrant summer fashion shots tagged “The Bold and The Beautiful” and loads of interviews.

I am beginning to think they are models.
Seriously, who color coordinates for this group? Their image is their brand and at this point, that image is not selling. Work is needed. Those are some very drab and boring looking colors on a group with a slightly dark skin tone. Use vibrant colors, create some fun. As individuals they are good; as a team, they are not bringing it…yet.

They are over publicising themselves haba!! We the public or fans should look for them but not them trying to force themselves down our throats by force by fire…getting tired of the publicity already and im not even interested in reading this magazine….Tiwa used to be pretty….all na makeup I guess

Quite surprised at how much negative criticism Tiwa and her crew are getting. Deep down we know Tiwa looks HOT in those pictured because she is a stunning girl, and her band are doing HOT things right now in the industry. If we are gonna critique lets make it constructive and not pure hateration!
I think the criticism is very valid. The photography is horrible. This is the worst i’ve seen the Marvin crew look….The first pic has wande looking like a blind man with artificial nose(notice the different shade of his nose)……The photographer should never be allowed to hold a camera again, much less edit pics
Honestly, Tiwa looks pretty, I don’t know what people are looking at. Even, the grey dress is not that bad. The men look handsome. At this point, we know who Mavin record consist of, it’s time to focus on putting some good music out. Enough of the pictures already.

This is all Horrible from every angle!!!!! the styling is amateur at best, poor taste in clothing, color choice and presentation. Every single model and each of the Mavin crew members looks horrible not one person is styled as though this is for a magazine shoot. For all we know they look like they could be going to shoprite straight out from the bedroom with no Nepa. The makeup artist gets an easy pass thanks to the photographer and their horrid photoshop tricks you cant even see the makeup! This photographer should not be allowed to work for any major magazine till he shows improvement. He obviously doesn’t care about his work or how his subjects are represented through his photography. downloading photoshop or corel pro and knowing where the blur and airbrush tool is does NOT make you a photographer!!! clearly the magazine is also delusional and shows lack of knowledge and direction by approving such atrocious images.

All the people saying that they already tired of the group. This means the marketing and publicity department is doing a great job. Can you ever get tired of seeing Pepsi or coca cola ads? ofcourse not. Let me give you guys a tip, Mavin Records is newly started venture and requires a good dose of publicity to break out. See the publicity they already have in a short time may be Kennis Music has not had in 10 years.
