You may remember the groom from eLDee’s “Da Trybe”, the pioneering Nigerian hiphop collective. Well, Timi Da Black One (Real Name: Dr Timileyin Akinmuda) exited the music scene to focus on his medical studies. He currently practices medicine as a dentist and also came back on the music scene in 2010. The beautiful bride, TaymiB (Real Name: Temilola Balogun) is a part of the alternative Nigerian hiphop group Soyinka’s Afro. She featured on Ajebutter22′s recent radio hit “Senrenre ” and she is also an On Air Personality with 96.9 Cool FM in Lagos.
The dynamic duo celebrated their wedding on Saturday 1st of September 2012. Both their traditional engagement and white wedding reception took place on that special day at the Green Park in Victoria Island and the Manor in Lekki, Lagos respectively.
BN wishes Temi and Timi all the best as they embark on this joyous journey.
