A Tea Party to Inspire Entreprenuers! Photos of Iyanya, AY, Mai Atafo & More at the Lipton Tea Party “Making Success a Habit” Event in Lagos

On Friday 28th September 2012, one of the top global tea brands, Lipton Yellow Label, launched its first Lipton Tea Party themed “Making Success a Habit” at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was an exciting evening charged with creativity and fun, where guests networked, shared ideas and discussed various topics while enjoying different blends of Lipton.

Speaking at the event, Thabo Mabe (Managing Director, Unilever Nigeria) said that just like good habits, Lipton tea is pleasurable, invigorating and uplifting – qualities that endear Lipton to Unilever and the millions of Lipton fans across the world.

Guest speakers at the event were Ifueko Omogui-Okauru, Toyosi Akerele, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Mai Atafo and Gbegan Sesan. The speakers who are respected individuals in their various fields, used their personal stories to inspire guests and emerging entrepreneurs to embark on their pursuits and quest for success with courage. Discussions were educative with lots of inspiration that got the audience to switch on their minds for success.

Also at the Tea Party, Nigerian music sensation, Iyanya was present to thrill all with his hit tracks. To wrap up the event, Unilever unveiled the Lipton Switch On & Win promotion which will run from October 2nd to December 21st.       How come we never hear about these events before they happen? Do they send emails and invites to only a specific kind of people? Would have been lovely to interact with these people. hmm!
