Celebrating TW Magazine at 5! All the Photos & Scoop from “TW Magazine 5…to Infinity” in Lagos

In celebrating five years of being truly WOW!, one of Nigeria’s biggest lifestyle publications, TW Magazine, hosted an elegant night of fashion and recognition on Sunday 30th September 2012.
The event which was compered by hilarious Chioma Omeruah, better known as Chigurl, saw designers, Gogo Majin of GM4FM and Theresa Onwuka of Needle Point, set the evening alight with their gorgeous pieces, using vibrant Vlisco prints. A dramatic touch was also added to the runway, which was interspersed with a series of monologues delivered by some rising Nollywood starlets.
Later in the day, guests continued with a sumptuous dinner, during which TW recognition awards were presented to Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde for her continued work with widows, Lateef Salami, the Nigerian aviation worker who found and returned N 7 Million to its owner and other worthy recipients. After the awards, it was time to dance. Top Nigerian songstresses, Waje and ChiDynma serenaded guests with their delightful tunes while Chigul gave everyone free “Azonto” tutorials.

I don’t think BN intentionally takes pics when peeps are stressed but I do think they need not put up pictures of celebrities when they are not ready for a shot yet. I.e adjusting or about to pose. Everyone even a miss world has bad pictures ,it’s not reasonable to post them except you want to do for controversial purposes. My one cent. ….

Congrats to TW magazine, i am an ardent reader of it right from the first edition of the magazine, i am yet to miss any edition, he last one really for me is the best, i love the content and the beautiful pictures of omotola.
job well done TW, just recently reading the mag, good content they’ve got i must say. My comment won’t be complete without saying shout out to the sexy and beautiful omosexy, that woman will never seize to put smiles on my face any time i watch her movie, she is really a blessing to the nation.

@naija…..Yes an award for the Widow’s makeover she did! It was done by her NGO Oyep( Omotola youth empowerment programme) plus let me refresh your memory, Alot of Nigerians already awarded her with prayers when all saw the pictures including Bella Naija!infact at that time, the story had the highest amount of comments on here over 300! All prayers and blessings on Omotola and her partners in appreciation of their work! So an award by TW is totally not only in line, but long coming.

Congrats TW, my first edition was the Mavin crew which I must confess, I didn’t like…but when I saw Omotola I bought it and didnt regret getting it. I got one for my mum also as she loves OmoT and all… Bella when do we get our next wedding diary fix? I’m a junkie….lol
