On Sunday 16th September 2012, the 2nd edition of one of Abuja’s top wedding exhibitions and fairs, The Fusion Lifestyle Wedding Fair, took place with a fantastic bang at the BMO Events Arena, Wuse II, Abuja.
With 70 vendors from within and outside Abuja displaying the latest wedding trends, prospective couples and other guests were treated to a wide selection of wedding apparel, catering, cakes and desserts, health and beauty services, decor, wedding planning services and many more products and services.
Set up as a real wedding with a mock bride and groom, the event featured all the beautiful moments of a typical Nigerian wedding including the couple dancing into the hall, cutting of the wedding cake, bouquet toss and the unity sand ceremony.
Hosted by one of Abuja’s top comedians, Fred Bright, guests at the event had lots of fun with hilarious jokes, fun games and competitions which saw lucky to-be-brides and couples win some amazing prizes including Ummulkhukthum UmmulKhair, who won a wedding dress worth N 250,000 from Brides and Babies, Bukola Asuku and Segun Adebolu won return tickets to Dubai and 3 nights stay at The Hilton courtesy of Studio 24.
It was truly a fun-filled event with loads surprises and activities. BN was on the scene and here are the photos from the event.

I wasn’t raised in Nigeria so please forgive my ignorance but is there a majority muslim population in Abuja than Lagos? I ask because i always see a large number of ladies covered in hijabs on photos from Abuja events and hardly any in Lagos events.
Yes there is…..
Nebs where are you based
I see my girl Yewande of Brides & Babies glowing in the house. Keep on mama!
On a different note, I think it’s sad that anyone would want an LV cake with Benjamin notes all around it. The level of vanity is so obnoxious that I’d be ashamed if I saw this at a wedding I attend.
woo…lovely…
Yeah,, I agree
Pls how do i get the contact of the ppl selling the turbans? It’s urgent pls. Tnx
