2012 MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week: Iconic Invanity presents “Luxury Sweet Candy”

At the just concluded 2012 MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week which took place from Wednesday 24th October – Saturday 27th October 2012, Nigerian design label, Iconic Invanity showcased its Spring/Summer 2013 collection, “Luxury Sweet Candy”.
The label’s creative director, Nancy Nwadire sent us all to the dentist’s with the presentation of its “yummy” collection. The collection is full of vibrant candy store colors including sorbets and sherbet palettes. Heavily embellished bead works adorn the pieces and represents items like candy floss, lollypops and éclairs. Taking a contemporary take on classic glamour, each piece of this collection tells a unique story that stays within the “Luxury Sweet Candy” theme.
