“My High Points started from the Beauty of Welcoming our Daughter into the World” – Superstar Comedian AY & his wife Mabel Makun cover the new issue of Motherhood In-Style Magazine

Motherhood In-Style Magazine‘s new issue is a great read! Nigerian comedian Ayo “AY” Makun and his wife, Mabel cover the Christmas issue of the magazine along with their daughter Michelle.

AY talks about his struggle (scavenging on the street, bartending etc…) before he found success as a comedian.
The couple chat about their relationship and their joint commitment to be great parents to their daughter.
Mabel tells Motherhood In-Style, “I could hold claim to nursing two babies in the house on a daily basis because AY is a born attention seeker”. She also talks about taking good care of her husband and daughter each and everyday as well as the faith based value system that guides the way she and her husband are raising their daughter.

Check out excerpts from the issue below. Motherhood In-Style Magazine is available for sale now. Find out more at www.motherhoodinstyle.net

    So nice! Me likey
I wish I can get a copy of this. On a side note, isn’t it too early for their daughter’s hair to be relaxed.
I know she’s not mine neither is it my bizness but I was just wondering.
PS how come Ay’s mouth is wide open all through the pictures?

@Goldfinch; i don’t blame most mothers when they relax their daughter”S hair cos as u knw most african hair are so coarse that some kids cry alot when u try to comb it. so to make it easier for them to make their daugthers’ hair, they r tempted to relax it. i will advise mothers to use “kids hair texturer” for their little girls instead of the usual relaxers they use. it is very good for kids soft hair and tender scalp (that is wot i use for my daughter) and @ d end the hair will till look full not scanty as it does with d usual relaxers. even adults that have very soft hair use the adult texturer. Lovly family, God bless them!!!!

You’ve come again with your self-hating speech. Pls destroy ur childrens’ hair, no one cares, just dont come and say it’s okay in public. We are not stupid, do not make a fool of us.

Nice family. The magazine would be a good read.
FYI… Ladies not everyone wants to relax their children’s hair. Not even every adult desire it.
It is not an act of ignorance, rather choice.

Lovely lovely family and pictures. but Motherhood u can try adding a more housey concept, it would make the pictures even more beautiful, like the wife on cornrows or hair net/scarf with the normal home clothes and the dad too in a relaxed homey attire and pose. Just an idea.
