In October, BN told you that pop star, Wizkid will be the only Nigerian artiste to perform alongside top international acts including Trey Songz, Kendrick Lamar, Tulisa and Angel at the BBC 1xtra Live Concert in Brixton, London.

Yesterday, Monday 12th November 2012 was the D-Day and the Pakurumo star surely didn’t disappoint with his performances which included his hit track, Love My Baby.

Dubbed “Our Prinz” by the BBC Radio 1Xtra Live organisers, here’s a quick review of Wizkid and his performance;

He’s our Prinz
Bringing the cool to Brixton, WizKid’s on his way! 2009 was the breakout year for Nigerian born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka. WizKid, with his collaboration with M.I on “Fast Money, Fast Cars” which gained him major attention due to his distinct voice singing style and immense talents for songwriting.
IN 2012 he bagged the award for Promising Artist of the Year at the Dynamix All Youth Award, and has since gone from strength to strength now offering us tunes like ”Holla at your boy’ and ‘Tease Me’.
The question we all can’t wait to answer though…will he be wearing his shades?

 Snapshots from Wizkid’s performance

On Twitter, the pop star shared with us a backstage photo of himself with American hip hop songwriter and recording artiste, Kendrick Lamar.

Bloggers go round the world to bring news to you.Appreciate it .I run a popular video and news blog i tell you it not easy gathering and editing news and video, it a job which am being paid to do.So, FOLA learn to appreciate bloggers.People who condemn easily are loppy in their own field.

      Nice …… hmmm I guess some people cant see the bbc radio sign on the pics and video (except the one with kendrick lamar) and cant see that bella did not claim they were exclusive. Which one be original and fake? LOL People sha hmmmm. Thanks for the info jare. Well done WHIZ KID.

      nothing wrong in taking info from another site. BN – is a naija blog – would be nice to get the naija slant as the story has a naija connection. Cutting and pasting from the BBC site is lazy journalism/blogging. I find it hard to believe that BN would be unable to get more information from people who actually went to the concert to give the story more ‘umph’. In todays technology – everyone can google the BBC website in a click and read all that BN put here. Never said it was fake nor did i say BN claimed an exclusive – just that it was a ‘cut and paste’ job. simples
