On Friday 2nd November 2012, Ghanaian design label, Aya Morrison officially launched its flagship store in Accra, Ghana. According to a rep for the design label, the night began with models in Aya Morrison swimwear serving refreshing cocktail drinks to guests while they networked and enjoyed good music from DJ Kakra.

The ceremony officially kicked-off at 7: 45 PM with a priest praying followed by the cutting of the ribbon. Inside the store stocked with pieces from the swimwear, purses and accessories fashion line, guests were served finger foods and Barcadi cocktails while shopping for items for both men and women including swim suits and beach wear, handbags, purses and accessories, men’s linen beach shorts and pants, sundresses, iPad and phone cases as well as summer hats.

BN was on the scene and we have photos from the launch - Check it Out!

i don’t know why pple wear bikini and then tight wrapper on their waist. bikini is to show off ur beautiful skin and body not to wear it and then use wrapper to cover up. if u wanna cover up something or think u are not comfortable showing off ur skin then wear some clothes

abeg sharrap jo!!!Na by force to wear bikini on its own…You wear bikini and send the picture to BN

They are not right on the beach…so I don’t think showing the full bikini would have the most appropriate. Besides, the wrapper makes it classy and more “African” in my opinion.

Nice collection, big ups to my Ghanaian sisters keeping it classy.

Very colorful. Will be watching out for more.

Beauty! No coke & fanta skin, rainbow makeup, a dead Brazilian’s hair sitting on her head. She’s beautiful!

      • Jo November 17, 2012 at 7:03 PM

She is spectacular to me because it’s refreshing to see someone on this website work with her natural beauty and still look like she didn’t roll out of bed like that. Her skin looks healthy too. That’s beauty to me. Rare beauty sh*t.
