DJ Xclusive
The ladies love him and he keeps Nigerians entertained when he gets on the wheels of steel. Guess who? It’s DJ Xclusive. On the black carpet at the 2012 FAB Night Out, DJ Xclusive arrived looking dapper in his black jacket with silver studs and black pants. Ladies feast your eyes.

DJ Xclusive

Toke Makinwa
It’s Toke Makinwa. Nigerian on-air-sensation arrived in a sheer lace dress by House of Nwocha. She accessorized her look with silver drop earrings, a black clutch and wavy locks. As her dress is sheer, what was beneath was just as important as what was outside – Toke gave fans insight into her “Sex and the City” inspired look on her blog by stating that she rocked a pair of black sequin high waist panties and bra.

Watch your back Sarah Jessica Parker, Toke is taking her style global.

Toke Makinwa

Tiwa Savage
One of Nigeria’s most loved pop sensations, Tiwa Savage arrived at the FAB Night Out 2012 rocking an edgy white piece. The Ife wa gbono star kept her look minimal and simple by accessorizing her outfit with silver earrings, a gold bracelet and Esteban Cortez gold cuff ankle strap white sandals.

Tiwa Savage

Karen Igho
Love her outgoing and free personality or not, Karen Igho is always one to look out for at social gatherings and red carpets. On Sunday, the BBA Africa alum arrived at the FAB Night Out in a backless sequined dress, which she accessorized with a shiny black clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps.

Karen Young
Another Karen who makes our list is Nigerian author/blogger, Karen Young. She arrived on Sunday at the FAB Night Out in a pink floor length dress with a plunging neckline plus gave us some sexy back as well.

this is just too disappointing. my goodness, fab night out sure means high fashion but plssss, naija women need to stick to what fits. i’ll admit i bashd toolz in earlier photos but seeing this, she probably was one of the best dressed. at least she knows how to tuck everything in and look tres curvy but smashing.

karen young, your boobs can no longer go braless, as in, what the hell were you thinking? and all that back fat? good heavens. toke actually looks nice but the pants should’ve been like boy shorts, not looking like £2 primark spanx. brifget awosika, those shoes are just an eyesore, they do nothing for your outfit. karen igho, i love you girl but those legs should never be out in the open ever again, infact your whole skin needs work, ditch the cheap bleaching creams and go for this egyptian milk thing they are all using now, maybe even gluthatione shots which are used on cancer patients, yes, thats the new bleaching fad. tiwa savage, some designer outfits are strictly editorial, you look lieke a dhl package that got damaged in transit, and don’t you know ankle straps cut your leg in half? april by kunbi, some of us go to yaba and know this sequinned fabric, some better lining would make it look not as cheap, and that slit is the worst tailoring ever, eyiyemi pratt, how old are you now? just stop plsss.

mocheda looked dashing, fabric is a little cheap looking but that neck piece just made the look sooo grande, body to die for of course, no bulges or love handles.

i am tired jare, even the men looked better(for the most part), this is just too disappointing, and people call themselves stylists? so sad.

        Spot on! ……… :)

      • Ziz December 5, 2012 at 11:31 PM

An advice to females, if you’re going to bare you back, make sure it’s toned. Just because others are doing it does not mean you can too.

Btw: How can you guys see Toke’s panties? You guys have some UV vision or something?

      • Ruky December 5, 2012 at 11:56 PM

I agree with you mehnnn…well up to the april part. I actually really really love that outfit, just scared my inlaws will chase me if its that open. I refuse to believe Tiwa’s outfit!! Wtf is she wearing?!!!!

hahahahah Tiwa Savage is just an eye-sore, she’s been getting it so wrong lately….Get a stylist pet! Kendra looks like she could do be a double beef burger with extra cheese, Aboderin shld have lost the jacket, she looks like she’s going for a job interview!. Eku looks a delight and I am yet to fault Ojy. Oh dear! Ms Young tsk!, much respect Miss Oni, always classy. Deborah Vanessa, the girl’s scout want their outfit back!, looking like a damn candy wrapper. Random girl in purple http://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/FAB-Night-Out-2012-December-2012-BellaNaija018.jpg love the whole look….all the men look delicious and most of the women as usual look outside their minds….. xoxo

Jia! Was there a dress code for this event? It looks like everyone was trying to overdo and it led to an overall fashion disaster. The guys look cool though.

Gosh Naija women..always copying what the skinny oyibo girls are wearing, meanwhile our bodies are not shaped like theirs. I am a bit diappointed that bella naija put this out sef…

    • onlooker December 5, 2012 at 7:31 PM

Tiwa loooks blehh, Eku just decided to throw on a slip, Toni Tones…..*sigh*, Uti please stop spreading your legs, we are tired. Too many fashion crimes here. *going to roll around in the snow*

    • Graceful December 5, 2012 at 7:51 PM

Best dressed goes to LIZ JOHN BLACK—-nice

    • Enigma December 5, 2012 at 7:52 PM

Ms Tones, if you had toned your stomach a bit before you donned this dress, it would have been a look to die for. Toke Makinwa’s HON dress is the same one Omowunmi Akinnifesi wore to the Future Awards in 2011 right? Please help me clarify. If it is, i think it looked better on Omowunmi. The dress is not bad on Toke but it does look more like the dress is wearing her instead of her wearing it. I don’t even have a best dressed look for the night. MoChedda is probably the only one close to being fab at this ceremony. Bridget Awosika with her adventurous ‘cutting-edge’ designs is so boring to watch. I’m saying it is not by force, contrary to what most women think now, it is the woman that makes the dress, not the other way round. Pick clothes that fit and flatter and have them ironed and tailored properly. The designer brand alone is not enough.

    • Enigma December 5, 2012 at 7:54 PM

Oh yes and please can EME get Skales a stylist asap? Thank you in advance.

      • Simya December 5, 2012 at 9:03 PM

Asin ASAP!!! It’s like they just threw clothes at him to wear

    • hey December 5, 2012 at 7:59 PM

    • Nice Anon December 5, 2012 at 8:09 PM

Toolz: I bow in the presence of your hips. JESUS CHRIST!!!! How is that woman still single? Are men in Nigeria blind?

Kike: You look amazing! Love the Balenciaga clutch. Always chic you.

Mo’Cheddah: Always looking good. That dress=FAB!

Ojy Okpe: Simple yet chic. Way to go!

Wunmi Bakare: Love her outfit esp the print skirt.

Yomi Casual doesn’t look half bad. His rollerboy CL is nice.

A lot of “no ma’am” outfits though. All in all not terrible. I didn’t see my fav Gbemi Philips. I have a style crush on her.

    • 'A December 5, 2012 at 8:19 PM

Some people sure didn’t see Toni Tones or they thought to keep it moving? OK, let me keep it moving also.

    • Madam the Madam December 5, 2012 at 8:31 PM

For a “FAB” night out, this red carpet is quite so-so.

Toni Tones – I’m very much on the fence.
Toke tries so hard, yet somehow never gets it right (with me).
Tiwa – The dress is a nice concept, but it wasn’t working for you tonight.
DJ Exclusive – That suit is beyond ill-fitting.
Toolz – This woman is amazing. She knows what works for her, and knows how to package herself well. Much props.
Ifeoma, Kiki Soyode, Aisha Bello, Moet Abebe, Yolanda Okereke, Kunbi Oyelese – You ladies look nice
Isoken O – Always looking so gaddam raggedy. Use your money and fix up.
Bunmi Ademokoya (whoever she is) looks absolutely ridiculous.
      Ngozi Pere O – I like it.
Mocheddah, Dolapo Oni, Gbemi Olateru, Makida Moka – Y’all look nice too.
Karen Young – Horrible on all counts.
Karin Igho, Eva Alordiah – Actually tried for once.

    • Kay December 5, 2012 at 8:33 PM

So embarassed.wat did they think they were wearing..Abeg we need 2 check out our body figure. B4 wearin anything… This is a massive fashion hazard 4 the ladies ….few ladies tried….

    • Madam the Madam December 5, 2012 at 8:34 PM

Oh yeah Yomi black should cease and desist from the “bodysuits”. Thanks in advance.

    • owolabz December 5, 2012 at 8:37 PM

    • tunde December 5, 2012 at 9:09 PM

Oh dear dear!!!, majority of all the actress were dressed poorly. Where are the stylists?. You can count on one hand the numbers of actress that were on point. For God’s sake , please pick up books on style rules and read them.

    • ashi December 5, 2012 at 9:10 PM

wow, i scroll down my hand tire but i loved a lot of the long gowns esp the red lacey dress
      http://www.ironyofashi.com

    • sisi oge December 5, 2012 at 9:20 PM

Utterly utterly disappointing ! More misses than hits.
      Worst Dressed:
Toni Tones: From hair to make up to dress, she looks like a train wreck.
Tiwa Savage: BN I guess when you added her under must see you meant shocking right ? Tiwa I love you maami but this look just aint working.
Bridget Awosika: Even designers get it wrong…Those shoes are a no-no with that dress and your toes look like you dipped them in the algae ridded River Benue
Karen Igho: WTF ???? Your skin should be heard not seen. You would have looked better in a burkha !
Eku Edewor: Looks like she borrowed my grandmother’s lingerie…pale and dull as dishwater.
Ojy Okpe: that appendage on the back of your dress looks like a parachute ready to lift off…
Beverly Naya: I’m not feeling this on you. Looks all shades of wrong maami….tres wrong.
Seun: Jeggings tucked into a shirt for an award ceremony ? Bet you thought you looked fly huhn ? :/
There are others, but I give up, However I would pay the following ladies a million dollars each to hide their legs away forever and ever: Isoken Ogiemwonyi, Erica, Yinka Fashola, Shola Lala. Tonight, I pray to the God of Fashion that Nigerian women as fashionable as they are, will learn to dress for their shape.

      Best Dressed:
Toolz: I love this girl. She knows her body and she works with it and does it well. Kudos maami, mwah !
Toke Makinwa: Please give Toni Tones some tips on how to wear sheer and stay classy. You killed that red dress.
Ebuka: You look take home to mama…let’s just keep the chest tattoo between us huhn ? ;)
Sinem Onabanjo: Nice and simple and classy.
Liz John-Black: Pay attenttion ladies, This is how it should be done. 110% on point.
Asake Agoro: Madam designer, I want that dress !
      Ok I’m tired …that’s all for now….

      • Sassy December 5, 2012 at 9:36 PM

You ‘re so on point. Liz John-Black clearly deserves the best dressed and most fabulous look of the night. All covered up yet looking sexy and oh so glamorous <3 <3 <3

    • e-bukun December 5, 2012 at 9:24 PM

Some of these looks are just painful to look at. Plus you know you need to change your friends when they let you step out of the house looking like that. Haba!

    • HTown chic December 5, 2012 at 9:38 PM

kia! where do i start, horrible dresses and worwor shoes…….If you must wear the dress abeg spanxs it up damn! toolz you bad in that dress everybody else e be like say una just buy cloth from yaba market hissssssss

    • Fashion Police December 5, 2012 at 9:41 PM

      Part 2
Toke Makinwa, Toke Makinwa, did you say you are 28? HOW, HOW, that old woman face staring back at me doesn’t look 28 o. Nothing wrong with looking older, but please don’t insult my intelligence by saying you are 28. When you are not an oyinbo woman, that ages fast. Even Kate Middleton sef who looks older, didn’t look like this at 28. Maybe its the pouting that is ageing your face.
As for you Toni Tones – You must be feeling like Angelina Jolie. With your tummy like that, you had the liver to wear that dress. How I wish I could send this photo to Joan Collins at E so they can display it on Fashion Police and finish you. Cos nothing we will say, you won’t hear word.
Tiwa Savage – Did NEPA take light in the place where you saw that dress, and chose it to wear for this event. I tire for you o
Deborah Vanessa I wanted to shout give me an E when i saw your photo. You look like you belong in a cheerleading group. Add two Pom Poms and your outfit will be complete.
Donations to the Feed Eku Fund please. That nightie abi negligee you are wearing. Nude coloured for that matter. Ko help matters. You look like a wraith.
Seyi Shay, dress and shoe to match is not by force na. Kai, those clunky, chunky orange shoes. Did you steal them from your mother’s wardrobe.
Karen Young, learn from Mo Chedda, fashion tape or silicone bras. Those your mamsicles, need support. As for your back and saggy behind. Spanx dear, google it.
      Watch out for Part 3

    • Fashion Police December 5, 2012 at 9:44 PM

      Part 3
Ojy Okpe, you tried. You should have worn your hair up, and gotten rid of those wedding shoes. A black strappy sandal or even gold, with gold earrings, and you could have won best dressed.
DJ Caise, pack your mansumfin well na, some crotch action going on there.
Eva Alordia, totally wrong dress. Reminded me of a coral reef. You are such a pretty girl, why.
Beverly Naya, i still can’t fathom the thought process of the designer of this dress. Did material finish? Whats with the patch patch of 3 different fabrics. None of which work, and those earrings and those shoes. SMH.
Kunbi Oyelese. Too Prommy. Reminded me of my prom dress at high school. Drop the 16 look and act your age woman.
Osas Ighodaro – Our very own Kim K. Work that ass girl, Work it, Work it.
Bridget Awosika, how in the world are you a designer. Halloween was 2 months ago. Geez. The makeup, the shoes, the dress. Who buys clothes from this woman. I mean, seriously
Kayla, nothing particularly wrong with this look. You played it safe, and forgettable.
Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi- at least you tried to smile, and your cleavage didn’t annoy me. Spanx next time dear, for the you know, tummy.
Dolapo Oni, I get the look you were going for, but you are not sexy enough for it. Megan Fox, or Hayden Panettiere would have killed in that covered look, but it just made you look mummy-ish. Note, if you are petite you must be extra hot, like smoking, to pull of this look.

      • #FACT December 6, 2012 at 6:38 PM

You get time o. I wonder how many hours you put into this! I hope you know these fab chics youu are yarning dust about don’t know you, don’t give a shit about you and certainly aren’t loosing sleepover you and your invalid comments. Babes making money and arer damn well making an impact in their fields you dey there wasting prceious God given time on “critiquing”. You don talk abi? You made your own day and I’m sure you are temporarily feeling better about yourself ba? Clap for yourself.

    • Fashion Police December 5, 2012 at 9:47 PM

      Part 4
Liz Yemoja, Haba did they run out of stock in your size. How did you eat and breathe the entire night, or is some invisible hand, pulling at the dress at the back, to give you a thin waist. Ko sise.
Liz John Black – wrong bra dear, too small. It gives you a 3rd boob in the middle of your chest. Other than that, you tried. The juju look on your face though, please tell me it was lighting, or should I enrol you and Karen Igho in the same Bleaching Anonymous group.
Funlola Aofiyebi Raimi – Morticia called. She wants her dress back.
Rekana Sharon Young – you and Deborah Vanessa, are you cheerleading for the same High School. Mid riff tops tsk tsk tsk. Those shoes. Hian, Kilode, Kilode.
Ngozi Pere – Julie Andrews called, she wants her Sound of Music costume back. Honestly, she does. That your hair, ehn. If you are not Amber Rose or Justin Beiber. What were you thinking
Makida Moka – I can’t complain. Just lose the gold belt next time
Tomi Odunsi – How sweet. Where’s the bride, cos you look like you just came from being a bridesmaid at a wedding.
Zaina – I can’t complain. Wear your hair up next time. Your mono strap and your hair shouldn’t be competing with your shoulder. You should have chosen a bold colour for your shoes and clutch. Something to make the outfit pop.
Ebun Aboderin – O da nigba na. Don’t know what to say this time. Someone translate
Isi Atagamen – Confess you borrowed this outfit from two different people abi. The top and the skirt. The n you decided to borrow the black shoe and clutch, cos your 3 pieces look like they belong separately
Wonu Otoye – too casual. Where on earth did you get those shoes from. Ugh!!!!
Watch out for part 5 – No one should complain o. I am taking a leaf from Nollywood

Just to point out that Mrs Yomi Black is of mixed parentage. Quite annoying when you think every light skinned person is bleaching or you can’t tell the difference between mixed parentage and bleching.

        • Anon December 6, 2012 at 8:58 PM

          bleaching not bleching.

    • Bimbo December 5, 2012 at 9:52 PM

LIZ JOHN BLACK, SEEMS NEW ON THE BLOCK BUT I RESPECT HER STYLE, THE FEW TIMES I’VE SEEN HER ON BELLANAIJA AND OTHER PLACES. SIMPLE, DECENT, AND ELEGANT.

      Part 5
Kendra Efuntuwa – Hoochie mama. You miss road to the party at the Playboy mansion, abi where did you think you were going.
Yolanda Okereke – Two bright colours, haba, pardon our eyes na. It just reminds me of my nephew’s colouring book. Lose one or the other, and tone it down with a dark colour.
MizAbebe – did you take the curtain from your house, and quickly join it to the orange bustier, abi kini.
Moriam Musa – abeg no where that tangerine dress again. it does you no favours. Also don’t pair black shoes with a metallic purse. Okay
Isoken Ogiemwonyi – You could have done sooo much more with that dress. So much more. Why did you ruin it with those hideous orange shoes, and that bag
Lola Odu – clap for yourself. You have the body for that dress. Those sandals though, did you get dressed in the dark, or the shiny shiny of the dress didn’t let you see that you chose black sandals
Wunmi Bakare – are you coming from lunch with the girls, cos I don’t understand
Bunmi Ademokoya – Nice. Loose the clutch or the shoes. Something doesn’t sit right
Aisha Bello – Someone pass me sunshades please. Girlfriend, are you kidding me. Did you 4yr old niece, pick out those shoes for you, and the dress too.
Vicky Heldan – your dress looks like an Orange silk napkin wrapped around you, and clinched to form a dress. Sorry
Erica – White and short on a plus size woman, never go together
Yinka Fashola – just like Isoken, you could have done soo much with this dress. That your hair ehn. Your Brazilian hair customer has closed shop or what, or the salon didn’t open the day of this event
Divine – Erm no. Lose the neon pink jacket, lose the purse. Ah ah you are not 5yrs old na, whats with the pinky fairytale princess look.

    • Fashion Police December 5, 2012 at 9:57 PM

      6th and final installment
Back to Toke – For your figure, all lace drowns you out, and those panties you were wearing. Omo mehn. Ko sise sara. Please, tell your stylists to google images of petite women in Hollywood abeg. You don’t need to be a gazelle to steal the show. Height is not in your favour, don’t let the dress also swallow you na. Wear the dress, not the other way around.
Yvonne Chioke – did you just come from lunch with your daughter or mother.
Ruky Dabour – Wrong accessories. A choker and a mono strap. Come on
Shade Ladipo – Ehn hen, me likey. Spanx next time, please. If you are pregnant, my apologies and congratulations.
Joan Okorodudu – Mama fun ara e. Heading to the next owambe after this event, or just coming from one.
Ronke Ademiluyi – I dont understand your look at all o. Very boring, I must say
Meg Alabi – you deserve a C for effort. Even though the dress looks like aso ebi
Kiki Soyede – I can’t complain. I would have gone with another purse though
Seun, Seun – My 14yr old sister wants her jeggings back and her hair straightener. Right NOW
Mary Jane – You had to wear all the yellow in your cupboard abi
Andrea – your remaining names are tying my tongue jare. Why would you disrep that dress with those shoes.
Ifeoma – The sister of one of the 3 Orange men IN DA HOUSE
Miss Sagoe – you obviously took your inspiration from Gossip Girl. The B by Waldorf line. Kare. The pin up look is back I know, but with a chunky looking Jacket and skirt. Except you were going for the 1950′s headmistress look, then ok.
Sola Lala – did you suddenly remember that you had an event to attend, that you quickly found shoes and a purse to wear, because this look doesn’t seem to me as if you planned it
Eyiyemi Pratt – you recycled the top half of your maternity top abi, and added blue material to the button. Well done
Asake Aghoro – I like your fashion statement. Work it girl
Elsie Okpocha – Who did you borrow those shoes from. That person doesn’t like you o, if they knew you would wear it with this dress. Tights in 9ja heat.
Joan Collins has spoken through me……Lol

      Fashion police…i bow oooooooooo

      Now to the business.

Toolz, Kaylah, Ojy, mo cheddah, zaina, osas and Ojy looked classy, thats the way to go, its a total look, its not that people did not put on nice dresses, its either, the shoe, hair or accessories is wrong, the ladies I mentioned above had the total look, everything in place. Others were messy. I guess this i must shine craze is eating us up in Nigeria!!!!!! Please learn from them. As for the men, Dj Xclusive without the pants, it ruined the look otherwise he looked dapper

    • Shade Adekoya III December 5, 2012 at 10:45 PM

Nope …i think dj exclusive looked dapper, osas is a fine girl, kaylah looks sweeeet, love the simplicity in her style, dont like Toke makinwas look, it would have looked nicer on someone else or you should have opted for an updo , that babe tries too hard, karen and karen mbanu ooooooo, rubbish, tacky and classless, seyi shay…naaaaa, dont like your outfit, freeze, that red tie, no thanks, all thses gay men…sorry nope…ok im tired

    • tolani December 5, 2012 at 10:55 PM

Ill shoot myself if I see dis rihanna hairstyle one more time…tiwa is so pregnant I’m happy for her!! This toke tries too hard I beg…mochedas body is hot hot hot

    • bimpe December 5, 2012 at 11:08 PM

OH DEAR LORD!!! TIWA STOP NOW! STOP RIGHT NOW! WTF?!?! Her style has gone soooo far down hill its unbelievable! She looks like a HOT MESS! Looks soo cheap and tacky, my dear wwhite is CLEARLY not your colour, you looked like a money miss road at channel o,for someone regarded as the hotest nigerian female artist I was HIGHLY ashamed! She looked soo much better last year in the yellow long dress, soooo disappointing. Becoming an eyesore! FIRE ur DAMN stylist before u lose all ur style credit. I mean Veronica Odeka looks like a hot mess, y hire her as a stylist! + I’m yet to see u in ANY bridget awoshika piece that’s remotely flattering, I suggest u also stop working with this designer. Toni Tones? Laff wan kill me here oh! Toke Makinwa? Appropriate underwear maybe? Seyi Shay? Pola Dot abi kin re? Her performance outfit was much better. Kunbi Oyelese can u wear/make anything that dsnt include this sequin fabric? Dj Xclusives outfit is very ill fitting.

      • Ona December 6, 2012 at 9:10 AM

Why r u making such a high fuss for someone who at least looked decent out of the many ladies baring their goods to the highest bidder? Granted, u have ur preference, but with the way u r shouting like a loose canon, one would think she went there naked. Chill abeg.

        • Amber December 6, 2012 at 2:41 PM

It’s called an opinion/preference. All Bimpe did was state her own preference which is the same thing you did below. You stated yours below and no one has attacked you for that. The fact that Tiwa’s outfit looks completely chic to you doesn’t mean it’s the same for others.

      • amaara December 6, 2012 at 9:48 PM

Bimpeeee don’t lie yes you have seen standard pieces by Bridget Awosika many times. Avoid sounding like a hater my dear. Truth be told most of them usually look best on slimmer women but just bcos your not slim and tall enough for her pieces doesn’t make her work unflattering. Besides this one you are fussing about on tiwa is not even by Bridget Awosika this is Estaban Cortazar. The dress does look very much like a Bridget piece tho. It could have fitted a bit better but its still chic. And Veronica has been doing a great job. You see sometimes stylists can’t bring out their complete vision if the wearer also can’t completely own the look!

    • funke December 5, 2012 at 11:16 PM

Kai Tia! Tiwa! At the hell is going on with you? Lately all your outfits have been soooo illl fitting, don’t u have a mirror to even see for yourself? Or can’t the designer advice u even if the stylist is useless. I mean there is a major hiccup at the back, its clearly folding cs it dsnt fit right! Oh Tiwa how the mighty have fallen! Buckle up babe, so many new babes in the game, u can’t be dressing like an akata! Step it up! Fire ur damn stylist! Get a mirror! Tsk Tsk!

    • DeMorrieaux December 5, 2012 at 11:36 PM

Compared to most of the events featured here on BN, I must say people looked somewhat decent this time. To me it looks like 50% of the people actually tried.

My personal #1 (ignoring the hair): Miss Sagoe!

    • DeMorrieaux December 5, 2012 at 11:37 PM

      Nigeria’s greatest (fashion) problem: shoes!
      Epic fail.. *sigh*

    • dee one December 6, 2012 at 12:05 AM

Security shud hav stopd eku at d entrance n asked her to go bak n wear a proper dress, DJ Xclusive…I Loveeeee U̶̲̥̅̊ but dat jacket is really beyond ill-fitting, MI, tiwa, bridget awosika like wat d hell, toni tones *i hav no words* karen igho’s dress is hot (notice I said d dress n not d wearer) toke….well, wonu is always lookin like she rolled outta bed and found herself at an event.

I think I shud stop here n just say best dressed for me was makida moka.

PS. BN pls U̶̲̥̅̊ need to hire a proof reader to proof read before posting and article and if you hav one alredi den pls let he/she do their job.

      *an article

    • liily December 6, 2012 at 12:08 AM

*eye sore* where do i start from *scratching my head
I thought this is FAB award show? It looks like majority of them here missed the memo.
Please my fellow Nigerian ladies, lets learn to dress appropriately for an occasion. I don’t know why people are wearing club outfit for award show biko nu. Furthermore, some of the shoes i see are eye sore. The shoe you put on makes or breaks an outfit. What’s up with this chest baring and back baring? If you don’t have the body to rock it, then don’t wear it.
TOKE- Girl your dress is amazing but I’m not feeling that hair of yours. If only you left that short hair you were rocking before. Short hair brings out your facial features especially your cheek bones. With that short hair and the dangling earrings oh boi! you will be hands down amazinggggg!!
BEVERLY- Bev! Bev!!! Your hair rocks! But that shoes of yours and the pants i don’t get it at all. If only you replaced that awful looking pants to a pencil skirt and take off that horrendous shoes and replace it with pumps. it would had looked better.
EKU- Girl that dress is beautiful and sexy. I love it BUT for an award show it is not appropriate. And that shoe??? ermmm NO! next time pair that dress with sandals high heel shoe. Rihanna wore a similar dress like this (red in color to be exact) so you can take a cue from her…xoxoxo

    • Iris December 6, 2012 at 12:16 AM

Only Osas Ighodaro pulled off the backless look successfully

    • Bambino December 6, 2012 at 12:33 AM

      @ fashion police…u are hired!

    • dawny December 6, 2012 at 12:49 AM

These comments na wa! “Fashion police”: its either of two things, u haven’t got a real job or u didn’t get an invite. Get over yourself!
Personally, I expeected a bit more from the red carpet to be honest. I liked Kiki Soyede and Kunbi Oyelese’s outfits. They kept it simple and classy. Way to go!

    • meli December 6, 2012 at 1:20 AM

what was the event – Calabar Masquerade Festival?????
Naija menplease just come out of the closet. Tis about time

Only Gbemi Olateru, Kike Soyode, Wonu Okoye, Toke Makinwa, Teni Sagoe, Frank Edoho (rme) and Dolapo Oni looked flawless.

The remaining people should please commit fashion suicide. Thanks.

Bridget, you almost made it but your makeup is a no no.

    • heeba December 6, 2012 at 8:53 AM

For the First Time i Like what all the ladies put on.Majority Hit it.Werk it ladies!!!
Karen you for just tie wrapper cover your front alone ……the dress is ill fitting
other Karen your back needs to be toned just cos you are slim does not mean u can get away with a dress like that.Kendra that outfit is to exposeee for your bony self.

    • Camron December 6, 2012 at 8:57 AM

its like Tiwa savage was forced to put on that dress. she isnt comfortable in it at all. i can feel she lost her self esteem when she saw how others were dressed. my gurl, u have such a pretty face and a well shaped body. go after what fits u. as for Karen, no be by force o my dear. ah ah always wanting to choke people with ur breast and buttocks. those legs need to be covered not exposed. Uti, im tired of ur same outfits.

    • Ona December 6, 2012 at 9:04 AM

Ebuka(love his attire!), Alex and Uti: FOINE ass Igbo boys! Chai! *bites finger*

All these “ladies” baring their backs and torsos…..could u kindly tone up first? I have no problem with ur fashion adventure, but don’t be making an arrant fool of urselves like this. Karen’s own is just on a whole other level…she must enjoy being an eye sore.

Toke, that outfit could have been half way decent if u accessorized accordingly. How can u wear a fancy dress with a freaking cheap azz looking SHOULDER bag?! And that big earring with the already busy dress and ur mini frame? U r doing the most boo.

Why do women with no ass like to do the “butt shot” picture pose THE MOST?? Its comical to me.

Really skinny chics with really skinny legs need to stay farrrr away from those huge platform sky high pumps! They make u look so wierd. Like u have horse hoofs kinda wierd.

And why is Kendra looking like a coked up cheap akwuna kwuna?! *sigh*

I like Tiwa’s outfit completely…chic, simple and just fab and those shoes…gawwwjus!

I actually like Eku’s simple, effortless look. She looks subtly beautiful.

Where is Rita D tho? I was looking forward to see her outfit. And that dude that won “Best male dressed (actor)” did not so deserve it! Ramsey dresses way better by far! Az in, what is that nonsense he has on?

      • Ona December 6, 2012 at 9:12 AM

Oh yea and Osas has a banging shape! Fine babe.

        Tools looked nice as well.

    • Faux pax December 6, 2012 at 9:27 AM

Mama Mia!….it is tru Chinese don invade naija o…Shoesssssssss!.A lot of good dresses for wrong bodies.i guess everybody stepped out with the notion that they don dress to impress, but this is what they call ‘yam pepper scatter scatter’?Where is naija fashion police o?…couldn’t help but laugh at that guy in green pants ….is he on the runway?

    • Amazeballs! December 6, 2012 at 9:31 AM

OMG Toni Tones NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! WTF were you thinking, you look disgusting!!! you need a far better toned stomach and slighly smaller boobs for that look. Your stomach is also darker than the rest of your torso! infact im just flabbergasted by your look, sigh!

Mo Cheddar just blew me away, you go girl!

    • Joy December 6, 2012 at 10:38 AM

As for me, Mo chedda looks the best!

    • Neo December 6, 2012 at 10:43 AM

Ebuka’s decolletage is to die for.

    • koa006 December 6, 2012 at 11:10 AM

maybe tiwa was the chef at the event- To cook up some HOT mess! *blank stare*

    • MiMiMe December 6, 2012 at 11:46 AM

Toni Tones needs a ‘Toned’ Tum in that dress..lol no seriously..I like the dress but not on her.

Toke looked just ok, but honey if your reading this..go back to that pixie crop..it looked ‘Fab’ on you.

      Eku always #winning
Tiwa defo wins it for me, even though her hair could have looked a bit more tidy..i’m glad your stylist, as your new one is doing a great! Job! Since the last 7 months you’ve been looking amazing! #highfashion in Stella McCartney, Valentino etc gwarn fi ya Esteban Cortazars looool #winning!
Wonu didn’t look fabulous at all, that vintage/boho your always trying to pull off..honey boo.no no no! You have an amazing figure so mix it up a bit.

Another thing fat girls, I mean big, I mean ‘voluptuous’ or curvy..lol shouldnt be caught wearing satin! Like seriously..it doesn’t do your body shape any justice.

      • omosherlee December 6, 2012 at 7:02 PM

Which high fashion?? Abeg whomever put that one her and that her last unforgivable channel o awardd outfit surely doent really like her or understand her bcos she always looks like they forced her into it. Its just not a natural thing for the babe. I don’t even understand why put so much pressure on herself to wear runway looks when you know you are not made for those and some clothes really need to stay on the runway or on girls with a modelesque type of body frame. Besides you can so tell either she or the clueless stylists are so deperate to have her compared to international. Celebs. Anything she sees on a particualr celeb she too must join and wear it so that you can think she has arrived and talk about her. Please consider your body, the fit of the outfit and be true to yaself ! LMAOOOO! gimmicks hian!

    • omoh December 6, 2012 at 11:52 AM

    • Kay December 6, 2012 at 12:49 PM

To my mind, the best dressed for the night is Kike Soyode. Nothing memorable about the remaining.

Speechless is the only way I can best describe my reaction to these pictures meant to show people at the FAB awards…FAB?! Wow!

    • HRS December 6, 2012 at 6:31 PM

Bella purposely pushed the “Show Boobs” or “Show Back” or “Show Both” to the front, before showing us decently dress peeps, Y’all should cover up, there’s nothing new, it’s not like ur boobs are diamonds or gold engraved bikonu, and ur “coat of many colours” back ain’t attractive as well, keep them for ur hubbies.

Good to see Yomi and beautiful bride, Liz, still remember your wedding pictures on Bella Naija, Beautiful! http://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/FAB-Night-Out-2012-December-2012-BellaNaija215.jpg

Bikonu, U should have left ur duvet at home! http://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/FAB-Night-Out-2012-December-2012-BellaNaija0092-399×600.jpg

Karen Young and Karen Igho – I cant help but compare backs.
Toke and MoCheddah – I cant help but compare petite bumbums
Sheyi Shay and Osas – I cant help but compare backsides

To summarise my comment, some people will run for cover when they see their ‘opponents’ lol.
      I won’t give a harsh comment.

    • Unisex December 9, 2012 at 12:18 AM

Let start with the postive, best dressed man Uti, best dressed women Toolz and Zaina.
I can see some of these celebs dont have mirrors in their houses because this the only reason some can use for looking so bad. The Two Karen i feel like knocking your heads and saying why oh why. Karen I, stop bleaching you making yourself llook old
Toni Tones, please explain yourself now, I am waiting. Most of these people have let down Naija and that the truth

    • @SHUGARness December 10, 2012 at 4:22 AM

Most of this ladies are either trying too hard or not even trying at all, as a celebrity photographer Toni Tones should know that this dress does not fit well from any ANGLE. So many beautiful ladies in ugly dresses, and what’s with the backless dresses, people get carried away by d heat of what’s in vogue and lose focus on what actually works with their body type, so much skin on the Red carpet, may be its d weather (it’s been quite sunny and hot). #just making excuses for them nooni#

    • Pinky lips December 10, 2012 at 8:56 AM

Eyiyemi Pratt…….not a cool look,u can n really should do better next time,Wonu okoume looks cool,Ebuka looks dapper…..fine gentleman,Karen Igho needs to understand that d fact that she can afford most outfits doesn’t make them perfect on her….that look wasn’t for her……Gbemi olateru olagbegbi needs to get a stylist ASAP………

    • fashionandstylepolice December 11, 2012 at 7:14 PM
