Bestman Games Limited is giving you an exclusive opportunity to view this video documentary about the making of “The City of Lagos Edition of Monoply”, which is set to launch and will be available nationwide from Tuesday 11th December 2012.
The launch of the City of Lagos edition of the world’s most iconic and recognizable board game was announced a week ago, to a chorus of adorning enthusiasts.
The makers of the board game, Winning Moves, soon to be in Lagos for the launch, have released this exclusive behind the scenes footage to assist with explaining what it has taken to develop the idea.
The documentary provides a rare glimpse of the magical world of Hasbro’s Irish factory (Publishers of the Monopoly Board). Shot in the course of the production of the City of Lagos Edition, the video takes all viewers from concept to printing, packaging and transportation of the game boxes.
Following the official announcement of the City of Lagos Edition 7 days ago, the city has gone into curiosity overdrive, as Nigeria awaits confirmation of the selected iconic sites and places.
Yesterday, Tuesday 4th December 2012, CEO of the Bestman Games Limited, Nimi Akinkugbe, who is also a BN financial columnist, presented the first City of Lagos edition of Monopoly board to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola at the state house in Lagos.

Here is what is in it…banana island, bourdillon rd, vi, phcn, lagos water works, alausa, Cms, Glo, yaba market, epe(don’t know why?) rewane rd, gra ikeja, UBA is the bank. I will bring you a picture of the board soon.
Epe has always been a part of Lagos, before Banana Island or the other places were formed or sand-filled. Just because you are into the “new” Lagos, you can’t disregard the unique places of the state.
