We found this uber-cute story and just decided to share. 10 years ago, Vickky Sogunro went into labour on she and her husband Chris’ wedding day. A few hours later, she gave birth to their beautiful daughter Ayomide. The couple recently held a party in honour of the double celebration on Saturday 24th November 2012.
Nollywood stars including Rita Dominic, Monalisa Chinda, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Linda Ejiofor were all present at “Pop Idol” themed event in Lagos to celebrate the family. Check out photos from the event.

i think this sogunro woman used to be an actress, though she’s gained weight now. she was in “Camouflage” with genevieve and ibinabo, and i think she was also in “Face of a Liar” with ramsey, genevieve, rita, bibiana ohio, dan foster, and stella damasus. wwow! her daughter is a future miss nigeria for sure!

I love the concept of celebrating the kid’s 10 th birthday and I know that when you have money, you uncover a different level of partying. But for some reason, these Nigerian kids and adults dont look in place playing all these white man’s games. Moreover, this looks like a carnival and its just a birthday. I know the parents are excited and maybe this is allthey have but its too much by the looks of it. Sorry, not my thing.

PS: She (Kid’s mum) was in Fugitive (with Stella Damasus, Genevieve and Ramsey Noah). She was petite and very cute then. No,she’s not bad right now.

I think its a birthday and wedding anniversary being celebrated together, But the story is so incomplete, the names untagged. Who on earth are the girl’s parents? and who is Vicky Sogunro for Christ’s sake? I hate reading this kind of unfinished news.
