Congratulations to the new mother! Nigerian Soul sensation, Ibiyemi (Ibiyemi Ajakaiye) delivered a baby boy yesterday, Sunday the 23rd of December, 2012 in America.
And, as both mother and child are doing well, her hiatus (maternity leave) from the industry has taken a quick halt as the singer, known for such singles as ‘Can You Love Me?’, ‘It Could Be’ featuring Dipo as well as smash hits – ‘Don’t Leave Me’ and ‘Ore’, releases the video to her 80′s style up-tempo track, “Play”, directed by the talented Tosin Igho for IGH Films.
“I am very excited about the next chapter of my life, both personally and professionally. Thanks to all the devoted fans who kept tweeting and sending messages asking about the video. I appreciate your patience. It’s here!” - Ibiyemi
