Now, this is what we call rocking a magazine cover in killer Couture style.
Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson graces the cover of the 1st anniversary edition of Africa’s rising lifestyle publication, Glitz Magazine. Draped in a black Avant-garde piece by Paris based couture fashion house, Martial Tapolo, the Single and Married star dishes on all things Yvonne and life behind-the-scenes – saying “I appreciate the fact that people can differentiate my true self from who I am on the screen”
The 27 year old who is also a leading style star speaks on her love for fashion. “I know what style is good for me and what makes me look (great)” she says. Judging from how well Yvonne dazzled at red carpet events and social gatherings last year as well as inside photos of the magazine, we absolutely agree.
The interview photo spread features Yvonne looking gorgeous in a cut-out edgy Peachy Purr yellow frock and a floor length dress by Mai Atafo , Yvonne is a style star to watch in 2013.
This Glitz Magazine issue which is a celebration of the African style, also shines the spotlight on the 2012 Glitz Africa Fashion Week, where over 50 designers with African roots displayed their latest collections at the Accra International Conference Centre, Ghana. There is a full 33 page recap on the fashion show.
Also making the pages of the magazine is one of Nigeria’s eligible bachelors, Lynxxx – who is Glitz Man of Style. According to the music star, “I think fashion to me reflects on how I feel or how I want to be perceived”. So what’s the one fashion item Lynxxx can’t possibly go a day without? He says definitely a wrist watch – Fresh tip for 2013 ladies, if you ever want to buy Lynxxx anything.
We can’t take our eyes off TV personalities, Dolapo Oni of Studio 53 Extra and Naa Ashorkor of GhOneTV – This issue takes on the style stars and spotlight on their talents (They are both actresses as well).
