It seems it’s going to be a yummy 2013 for fans of Iconic Invanity.
The Nigerian design label is out with its candy-themed Spring/Summer 2013 collection Lookbook “Luxury Sweet Candy”. First displayed at the 2012 MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week in October, this collection is full of vibrant colours.
From sorbets and sherbet palettes to every hue you can think of from a candy store, are encapsulated in the collection by the label’s creative director, Nancy Nwadire. According to a rep for the design label, the heavy embellished bead work represent items like candy floss, lollipops and éclairs.
This collection lookbook which was styled by celebrity sylist, Veronica Ebie-Odeka, sees model Tansey Coetzee flaunting her silhouette in pieces ranging from playful jumpsuits to a little bit more formal pieces.
Taking a contemporary look on classic glamour, each piece of this collection tells a unique that stays with the “Luxury Sweet Candy” theme – Check it Out!

Dis collection is very interesting, colourful, chic…(I’m soooo out-of-words). I mean d designer is incredibly talented… Personally, if I were a lady, I’d rock d entire collection.
This is currently my FAVE designer – Iconic invanity- I love every piece and want every piecw, pure creativity and a good use of colour, patterns and shapes.
The pieces are so beautiful, loud and speak for themselves that you need very little make and jewellery. They speak volumes!- good work with the hair and make up.

SPEECHLESS…MOUTH OPENED!
The clothes are beautiful but I have to say that the styling is awful. Why is the white paper still on the mirror? Why is background clashing with the clothes and the model isnt centered in the picture. Why is she wearing the same shoes in all the pics…. no no no… kills a beautiful collection.
