The city of Port Harcourt will be lit up this March with the best of African fashion. The BSI African Fashion and Design Week is back for the second season Fall/Winter 2013 collection and this time has partnered with World Fashion for Development. 

BSI African Fashion and Design Week aims to take African fashion global and promote economic development and social responsibility around the world through fashion as an avenue for development. Bluepearl Services International (BSI) takes five (5) designers to showcase during the Brooklyn Fashion Week New York every season.
The designers picked during the last African Fashion and Design Week summer/Winter 2013 collection were:
  1. Jazz Effect Designs (Nigeria)
  2. Zhalima Grazioni (Nigeria)
  3. Wanaemi (UK / Nigeria)
  4. Nallem Clothing (Ghana)

The African Fashion and Design Week (AFDW) is a branded entertainment environment providing activities and opportunities for fashion designers and sponsors to come face-to-face with the principal tastemakers, VIP’s, celebrities, musical talent, mediaand consumersduring AFDW. The event activities this season will include Runway, Exhibition and Seminar.
