Very talented people but Nigerians bask in mediocrity. That’s why our artistes are comfortable with releasing sub par music/ movies/works. After all, our full support for mediocrity help elevate their lifestyle. Buy a mansion in Lekki, hang out at top lounges/clubs, buy a range rover etc.
Only a few people in the arts genuinely inspire with their creativity- Olamide, Phyno, (sometimes Wizkid), Maki Oh, JBL, Bridget Awosika, and a few others.
I hope Tiwa will release her album this year. Our number one female singer/performer who has been in the business for 4 years should at least have a full body of work out(an album). If she was in a structured and challenging environment, we would have heard her second album is already in the works.

Nice beat, but the lyrics and the vocals are weak. It appears Iyanya and Tiwa are afraid to bite the song. It’s average. Iyanya, please get a writing partner quickly. Its just a feel good shopping Mall music.
