Simply romantic and memorable! BellaNaija Weddings is once again joining forces with Munaluchi Bride Magazine. Today we have the lovely wedding of Rasheeda & Damian in Houston, Texas.

Rasheeda and Damian, both business owners were introduced by a mutual friend. After a romantic dinner, the two clicked and as they say the rest is history.

For their beautiful ceremony in Texas, the bride dazzled in a lace applique dress by Romona Keveza while Damian looked sharp in a black suit.

At the reception, she embraced her Nigerian side in a rich Benin traditional outfit (red wrapper and coral beads). Later in the evening, Rasheeda was thrice the charm in a gold-and-cream sweetheart neckline dress.

Along with having her mother as her matron of honor and her daughter as her mini bride, Rasheeda’s most memorable moment was Brian Courtney Wilson‘s performance of “I Believe” for her first dance with her beau.

Enjoy!

Wedding Planning
Bride: My wedding was amazing. My theme was vintage, shabby, and chic. Planning the wedding was challenging because I only had 4 months of planning time and we had over 10 vendors. I had an awesome planner and concierge service that helped organize our big day.  The best part of planning was spending lots of time with my mother.  She was very instrumental in making our day extra special.

Culture
We had American traditions and Nigerian traditions. For the Nigerian tradition, we wore traditional Benin attires, we had 3 separate outfits for the wedding and reception.  Our DJ played Nigerian and American music. For dinner, we had both Nigerian and American food. We were sprayed with money all night as we danced.
