  • Morning dew June 7, 2013 at 11:36 am

    Still very beautiful.

  • nene June 7, 2013 at 11:49 am

still looking good and she’s going on 50. even though she wasn’t a really good actress, i always enjoyed watching, just because of her style, her fake phonetics (she tried small) and beauty. but there were other amazing and beautiful actresses like victoria inyama, obot etuk, dolly unachukwu, late jennifer ossai, gloria anozie young, liz benson, ndidi obi, and many more. NOLLYWOOD had beautiful and good actresses, most A-D list actresses today wouldn’t even stand a chance in beauty or acting.

    • AbEg June 7, 2013 at 6:06 pm

gloria anozie young i remember that lady as silver when she stared along Pat Attah in one movie like that…..use to watch lots of nolywood movies then, aww i miss most of them especially Hilda Dukubo

    • zsa zsa June 8, 2013 at 5:56 am

Please, why are you doing this @nene? taking me down memory lane :( . I used to watch movies featuring those actresses you mentioned with my mum who passed away yrs ago. *sad*…miss my momma..

  • nene June 7, 2013 at 11:51 am

…how could i forget the ever beautiful hilda dokubo. my No. 1! The good thing about nollywood though, is that now you have dark skinned actresses, which is good. but people have started bleaching again, like before.

  • Stella Kashmoney June 7, 2013 at 12:24 pm

Wow long time no see. I adore you Regina.

  • Lecker June 7, 2013 at 12:42 pm

Always good to make the most of life no matter what it throws at you. She has a family, PhD, and maybe other interest besides acting and modelling, not so many people in the industry can make that kind of detour and still ‘LIVE’.

  • Nkem June 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm

wow, she is ageing gracefully, added weight too; good to see her, she wasnt really an amazing actress but her personality and carriage jst did it; good to see you regina

  • loveth O. June 7, 2013 at 1:36 pm

  • Gboromiro June 7, 2013 at 2:29 pm

The pics arent great! She needs a major make over. She should please come back to Nigeria to act!She was the don dada men!

  • Naveah June 7, 2013 at 2:44 pm

Jesus, Bellanaija does your staff writer not know the difference between a wine glass and a champagne glass?

On to the rest of matter – who put her in a green flowered shirt and put her on a green flowered settee? The pictures are not befitting of a former beauty queen, this is like someone’s personal camera took the pictures.

And I disagree that she is a Nollywood “star” because I believe that you would have to live in and work in Nollywood to be deemed a Nollywood star. How are you a Nollywood and you live in the US and work in Nursing? She is a former actress.

    • iba June 8, 2013 at 8:25 am

Easy here on some sentiments spewed. She remains a nollywood star even though she no longer resides in Nigeria. She made that impact and deserves all the love she gets from her fans. The fact many years later, we can stop talking about her says something. In order news, i totally agree with you these pictures did not do her justice. I cant believe its a camera shoot or magazine cover because ive seen far better.
But cant you see what i meant? The fact the pictures look crap and most blogs had this story even the great bella naija says something about Regina.

  • Wow June 7, 2013 at 4:15 pm

Great to see Regina Askia! Pretty lady.
The photos though!? Is this magazine for real? I could have taken better shots with my iPhone. The cover couch n all is so hideous n busy SMH!

  • cathy June 7, 2013 at 4:57 pm

Good to see Regina again. She is looking good but has added so much weight. I enjoyed her in Full Moon and Festival of Fire. Wasn’t great as an actress back then but I loved n still love her.
