Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) Ghana Participates at Lagos International Trade Fair, Wants Distributors

Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) Ghana, one of the foremost producer of chocolate confectioneries and semi-finished cocoa products, through its Nigerian partner, Anthill Investment Limited, is participating at the Lagos International Trade Fair at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos,  from November 1st – 10th, 2013.

Anthill Investment Limited/Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) Ghana pavilion is at booth #FD918; a designated zone for food and drinks industry. The pavilion consists of a designated areas dedicated to attend to distributors and for the sampling of GoldenTree chocolates. The company is combining series of activities to promote the products to woo new vendors and consumers.

According to the company, CPC’s goal is to create awareness, generate sales leads, educate prospective partners, distributors and retailers on the company’s range of innovative products in a bid to expand its market in Nigeria. CPC’s team members will be available to discuss how new distributors may benefit from its turnkey services and the type of products currently available in the market.

Established in 1965, Cocoa Processing Company Limited (CPC) is a limited liability company incorporated in Ghana on November 30, 1981.The shares of the company are publicly traded on the Ghana Stock Exchange.

It comprises three state-of-the-art factories: two cocoa factories and a confectionery factory. The cocoa factories have an annual throughput of 64,500 metric tonnes of premium Ghana cocoa beans which it processes into semi-finished products such as cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, cocoa cake and cocoa powder under Portem brand name.

The Confectionery Factory manufactures chocolate confectionery namely, chocolate bars, chocolate spread, drinking chocolate and chocolate dragées. The confectionery products are marketed under the brand name GoldenTree.
