RihNavy Update! Rihanna Returns to Instagram after 6 Months
The events leading up to Rihanna leaving Instagram was public enough for the world to see. Precisely six months ago, Rihanna was kicked off Instagram for sharing some nippley photos. After leaving Instagram in May 2014, Rihanna stuck with Twitter for her pictures and social media updates.
According to her friend and designer Tom Ford, Rihanna leaving Instagram was a huge loss to the social media platform as Rih was contributing more to fashion that way with her 12 million followers.
It seems Instagram has realized this too as the Bajan singer announced her return to Instagram with a sketch of her and the Instagram logo holding hands.
She then posted a picture of eyes, lips and cheek that got over 200, 000 likes in a few minutes – seems the Instagram community has missed her.
Instagram even took to their Twitter page to announce her return – now how many stars can say that has been done for them? Only Rihanna.

Yesterday her fans, called the Navy, trended #RihannaCouldYouRejoinIG on Twitter.
