Youth Protest Reportedly Breaks Out in Enugu Over High Margin PDP Win
The election results are rolling out and Nigerian citizens are gradually processing it in different ways.
This is a photo from Enugu, where Gil Nnaji of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won the senatorial seat against former Enugu Governor Chimaroke Nnamani, now of People for Democratic Change (PDC).
The Enugu election results have raised a lot of eyebrows, because of the high margin win in all categories by PDP. If you recall, a House of Reps candidate in the state was reportedly caught with 4,000 PVCs (Permanent Voters’ Cards).
Here was the result:

Here are some thoughts on the large PDP win:
The Enugu results are just shocking though. Rigging without sense… — Temisan Okomi (@temiokomi) March 30, 2015
The insult is not the rigging. The insult is the mediocrity in the rigging. No void and we will nod and say yeah because Enugu. Odiegwu. — … (@AVARIBERRY) March 30, 2015
Here’s how rigging works: If a few Northern states haven’t declared numbers yet, and they see the Enugu model? There will be no void votes. — Temisan Okomi (@temiokomi) March 30, 2015
