IDOLS WA + NIGERIA’S NEXT TOP MODEL UPDATE + OLUCHI

Anyways, here are some quick updates.

The whole thing rocked!
Omawumi’s performance was untouchable…..that girl can SING
Plus the way she enunciated the Ibo was on point, she really did Onyeka justice…

___________________________________________________________________ So the Nigeria’s Next Top Model event took place on Friday and was won by Olabimtan (Bimi) Adegoke. Congrats to her.

…but that isn’t the main story. I have gotten lots of emails from people who attended and about 100% of them have been negative. Fellow blogger, June O attended the event and HERE is her account of the event.

Well, I do not want to get involved in the drama but when I stated on my blog that ‘A contact at Bankable Productions informed me that they are yet to secure the official rights to officially use the Top Model name’ and when some readers/commenters questioned the show, some people accused us of ‘hating’ and not supporting Nigerian initiatives.
Well, read and draw your own conclusions. Personally, I hope the whole matter gets resovled.
___________________________________________________________________ Oluchi Onweagba and Luca Orlandi welcomed their first child in April 2007.
I am soooo happy for them.
Trusting that model chick Oluchi, I’m sure she’ll be back to her skinny self by next week…..lol
Anyways, congratulations!
Luca Orlandi is notoriously private so I doubt if baby pictures will be released but we’ll have to wait and see. I am sure the baby will be so cute!
