Ibiyemi new photoIbiyemi, an up-and-coming soul singer is back with her new video ‘Don’t Leave Me‘.

When you come in contact with this lady she strikes you as assertive yet unassuming and a regular Jane until she opens her mouth and all of a sudden, you are thrown into a different sphere, like Diana Prince transforming into Wonder woman right before your eyes. That’s what happens when you encounter phenomenal talent, Ibiyemi.

The singer songwriter’s other super power manifestations include, singing at the 2007 presidential inauguration ceremony and entertaining guests at various foreign missions in Nigeria. Ibiyemi’s inspiration is drawn from the likes of, Mary J Blige, Lauryn Hill, Tracy Chapman, and the legendary Stevie Wonder little wonder she packs a punch.

Her music is a breath of fresh air in an industry where powerful female vocalists seem to wane. Ibiyemi is currently working on her debut album ‘love always wins’ while thrilling audiences with the radio singles ‘Can You Love Me’ and ‘Don’t Leave Me’.

‘Can You Love Me?’, her first single, has been featured on the soundtrack to the November Movies production ‘Caught In the Middle’ starring Richard Mofe Damijo and Dakore Egbuson. It has also been adopted as the Theme song For Alphavision Media’s Television soap opera production “168” and “Hope Bay” airing on local television stations nationwide.

In the not too distant future, she won’t be an enigma anymore but our own superhero with the power to blow your minds with the spirit that is music.
