For the Love of You: Bukky Akin-Ajayi & Chibuzor Nwachuku Wed

Sometimes you just know when she’s the one! Chibuzor saw Bukky at a social gathering and immediately said to his friends “This is the girl I am going to marry“. 6 years later, those words were indeed prophetic as the beautiful couple celebrated their traditional engagement on the 18th of December 2009 at the KFA Events Centre and tied the knot on the 24th of December 2009. It was a wonderful day as Bukky Akin-Ajayi and Chibuzor Nwachuku were joined as man and wife at the Apostolic Church in Surulere, Lagos. Bukky looked absolutely divine in her bespoke corseted beaded strapless ivory dress which was designed and created by Yemi Oshikoya of Kosibah. The dress was paired with a crystal embellished chemise for the church ceremony. Her side swept hair  was accessorized with a diamond hairpiece and lace-edged veil.  Her bouquet of red roses completed her romantic and elegant look. The groom was handsome in his blue Tom Ford suit paired with silver grey tie. The reception was held at the Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. The colours of the day were wine, gold & blush pink, the bridesmaids were dressed in wine single-strap gowns while reception venue  fit the theme as it was decorated in gorgeous light and swaths in the colours. Guests danced, ate and celebrated this wonderful occasion with the couple and their families.
