Kelechi Odu launches Safari Remix at Temple Muse

Kelechi Odu launched his new menswear collection “Safari Remix” at Temple Muse over the weekend. You might remember Kelechi from BN’s The Look last year.
As we have come to expect in Lagos, the style stakes were high with the trend being unabashedly bold accessories.

Hot couple alert! Emma and Gboyega Balogun look casual and fab. Totally loving Emma’s tan playsuit but its her accessories that make the outfit a standout. Especially, the surprise pairing of the playsuit with orange heels and the turquoise and gold earrings. Fabness.

Nkiru Anumudu creates a striking look with this simple blue dress which she made totally pop with her outstanding choice of accessories. The shoes, the jewellery and finally the Pièce de résistance the Valentino Gemme Frame bag pulls the outfit together. Love it.

Hauwa looks simple and chic in this ensemble. Once again the bold accessory trend came through in her outfit. She paired a simple frilled white tee and black highwaist shorts with a bold Deola Sagoe necklace. Makeup, hair and earrings were minimalist.

Didi Ocheja dressed up her denim with a bright lemon drop chiffon top and a big & bold yellow clutch while Yejide Spong at the event rocked a Tae top paired with bootcut denims, like Didi, she accessorized with a large clutch.

Lisa Leigh, Mazzi and Oyin all stuck to black but spiced it up by adding a touch of quirk with their accessories. Lisa’s glasses (totally channeling one of our favourite characters Edna Mode!), clutch and bold red heels stand out. Mazzi keeps it interesting in an LBD and black heels paired with a woven gold cape while Oyin adds a vibrant ethnic inspired necklace.

This is about the 4th time in a week that we have spotted someone in head to toe Ituen Basi (Go Ituen!). This guest rocked sleeved Ituen Basi shift dress paired with the matching headwrap.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Grace Osime‘s outfit from head to toe. The orange top paired with crisp white high waist trousers accessorized with the beaded white necklace and an animal print bag! Vivian Chiologi also let her accessories speak – she rocked an embellished tunic with a Hermès black birkin and snakeskin peeptoe platform Louboutins.

Titi & Amy added a touch of glam in their dresses.

Carmen and Tokini look young and vibrant in their colourful print dresses. Once again, its all about the accessories. Tokini’s statement clutch and Carmen’s long gold necklace.

Omoyemi Akerele totally rocks in this ensemble. Every element of the outfit from the purple jacket to the tan heels comes together to create this fab look.

Uchenna Ezenna wows in her watercolour dress. She paired the dress with a pewter clutch and bronze heels.

The man of the day, Kelechi Odu rocks a look that exemplifies his new collection. Laid back, comfortable yet well tailored and put together.
