5th Edition of SistaSista – An Evening of Fun & Reflection in Abuja This Weekend

Women of different cultures & backgrounds will convene for the 5th Edition of SistaSista.

It promises to be an evening of fun, reflections and enlightenment.

Meet new friends and bond with the old ones!
The venue is The Haven Conference Hall in Maitama and special guests are reared to mingle with the sistas!
The event is on the 18th of September 2010 and starts at 3:30pm!

The SistaSista debut was held on the 12th of May 2007 with over 150 “sistas” in attendance, this number has steadily grown since then and last year hosted over 400 sistas on the 27th of June 2009. The aim of the event is to provide a platform where women from all walks of life to meet like-minded “sistas” and learn from them. It’s an evening of networking, mentorship and entertainment.

SistaSista has over the past few years,motivated women and girls of all ages to achieve their dreams and purpose in life through networking irrespective of their cultural, religious, habitual and professional differences.

This year’s edition would include a Heart to Heart Session with Life Coach, Jerome Onipede, Kate Henshaw-Nuttal with homemaking tips, poetry, music by some of Abuja’s finest artistes, laughs with Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st and the Sista in Hot Seat,a “Sista” Senator of the Federal Republic.

Dress Code…The SistaSista motto is COME AS YOU ARE! Whatever makes you feel comfy is fine, whether it’s a pair of jeans and a top or a tunic/boubou in ankara.
