Beauty & The Beat: Ex-Beauty Queen Muna debuts her first single “I Feel Real”

Munachi Abii was never a conventional “beauty queen”; During her reign as Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (2007), she did things a little bit differently, she gave candid interviews and made it clear that her chosen career goal was to become a successful rapper.

Muna actually started rapping long before the MBGN crown, she had featured in Terry Da Rapman’s underground hit “My PH Girl” as Babyrella. She built her cred with strong features on Banky W’s latest album and at the 2010 Hip Hop World Awards. Now Muna has signed with management company, RMG and has released her debut single “I Feel Real“. The song premiered on Cool FM 96.9 Lagos during the long weekend.

The song is techno driven and follows the recent genre mash trend. There has been some talk that the song was produced by World renowned music DJ/Producer, David Guetta but that is unconfirmed for now. Anyway, check out Muna – I Feel Real.
