Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi – “Red 2011” for the UBA CEO Awards

Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi adopts a different approach to presenting collections. Rather than sticking strictly to the fashion season schedule, LDA actively collaborates with companies including real dutch wax manufacturer Vlisco and also presents special “inspired” collections throughout the year.
This weekend, LDA presented a special “Red 2011” collection at the 2011 UBA CEO Awards which took place in Lagos on the 12th of February 2011.

According to LDA’s PR reps, the “Red 2011” collection “has created a dazzling bridge between her signature 1950s and this century. We see a mix and match of turquoise lace with red silk and yellow silk with embroidery cut to make form fitting dresses and skirts. A piece from this collection is a girl’s must have!“
