Youth communication agency, Livity proudly announces “Young Minds“, a competition supported by Google to find the pioneers, change makers and leaders of tomorrow to take their place alongside the greatest minds and innovators of today at Google’s Zeitgeist 2011 event taking place in the UK from May 15th to May 17th 2011.

Young Minds is an amazing opportunity for young people to get involved and win the chance to fly to London (all expenses paid) and represent their country on a global scale in front of amazing inspirational leaders, thinkers and social innovators from around the world.

The search is on until 21st March to find 12 exceptional, motivated and inspiring 18-24 year-olds from across Europe, Middle East & Africa, who are making a positive impact on their world. Winners will be invited to attend Google’s annual and exclusive three-day Zeitgeist event.

Once there they will take part in a series of bespoke master classes hosted by Google and get their hands on the latest Google gadget. What’s even more exciting is that a select few will get the opportunity to address the audience at the event, where previous speakers have included Archbishop Desmond Tutu, former US President Bill Clinton, Black Eyed Peas superstar Will.I.Am and global entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson.

Philipp Schindler, Vice President of Northern & Central Europe, Google commented, “Google has always championed innovation and is proud to help young people showcase their ideas and achievements. Zeitgeist Young Minds is an incredible platform for future world-changers to meet some of the most powerful and inspiring people on the planet today.

To enter Young Minds, entrants must be:
– Aged 18- 24 years old
– Speak fluent English
– Have an international passport to enable travel to the UK
– Have access to a computer
– An email account
– Be available to travel to the UK and stay from May 14th to May 18th 2011

Young Minds is a space for young people to share how they’ve made or are making a positive impact to the world around them. We want to hear their stories, by getting them to upload a YouTube video no longer then a minute to www.zeitgeistyoungminds.com.

So, whether you are a budding entrepreneur, social activist, or just passionate about something like books, then we want to know and just need you to talk about what they do, how you do it, why you do it and the positive impact it is having on the world around you.
