For his collection, Frank Osodi went for a girly, elaborate and sophisticated silhouette. In Nigeria, Austrian lace is most commonly used for Iro and Buba and for Blouse and Skirt styles. Frank Osodi in this collection explored these traditional styles, in particular, the blouse and the skirt and gave it a twist.

The collection features ballgown dresses, full skirts and details like dramatically applied ruffles. The blouses came in the form of blazers, peplum tops with ruffles and bell sleeves. The skirts came with more volume, tiered and with full fishtails.

He also presented an array of floor-length dresses that also adopted the flamboyance we see in the pieces in this collection.

The Designer, Frank Osodi
