Who is… IFAN

IFAN was born Ifeanyi Michael in Anambra state, in the South-Eastern area of Nigeria. He is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist. He began singing professionally in 1999. He performed Live at night clubs, at various events amongst which was Opa Williams’ Comedy Challenge.

In the course of his career, he has worked with mainstream acts like Mo’cheddah, Kel, Mike Anyasodo, Vector, General Pype, Keffi and the award winning Producer, Sossick. His influences range from Michael Jackson to R. Kelly and Luther Vandross; who through their music have inspired and encouraged the drop of greatness that is IFAN.

Peep IFAN’s debut single, My Girl. On the song, he features General Pype and the track was produced by Phat E.

The video was directed by Mr. Ak.One, who we hear is fresh from Film School in England. And as compared with his older work – Hakym The Dream‘s Dey Dere and Kaffy‘s Omo Gidi; He has definitely upped the ante on his style and delivery of his video elements.
