Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF) is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that identifies, develops and deploys change agents to positively affect Nigeria in line with the Millennium Developmental Goals (MDGs) declared by the United Nations.

On October 16, 2011 at the Muson Centre in Lagos, women of Style and substance gathered together in an event tagged “Woman Of Power – A Reviving Evening With Entrepreneurial Women Of Faith“. It was also to celebrate with Jumoke Adenowo – Founder of ATF, on the launch of her new book titled ‘Prophetic Prayer Manual Volume II’, this book addresses the issues women face in marriage and the struggles of motherhood.

Highlights of this evening included ministering by Jumoke Adenowo, unveiling of the book – Prophetic Prayer Manual Volume II by supporters of the NGO including Stephanie Okereke, Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi and Tara Durotoye, a book signing exercise and the cutting of Architect Adenowo’s surprise birthday cake as the day of celebration was also her birthday.

The event was also to raise awareness about ATF’s causes as well to raise funds to finance them. This year, the NGO’s focus includes fully equipping and staffing the women’s clinic at the ATF resource centre in Ilupeju, Lagos, creating awareness on legislations concerning the welfare of women in Lagos State and educating women on the processes involved in starting sustainable businesses.

Jumoke Adenowo, the CEO of AD Consulting – an Architecture and Interior Design firm started ATF in 1991 out of her passion to positively impact on the lives of women and transform the youth in the Nigerian society.
ATF projects are centered on providing entrepreneurship and skills acquisition for women and youths, basic primary education for children, women empowerment and make available efficient primary health care facilities for people who are unable to afford them.
