The 2nd edition of the annual FAB Night Out took place on Sunday 11th December 2011 at the Landmark Village Events Centre in Lagos.
12 months since its debut edition, the FAB Night Out is definitely one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the Lagos fashion event calendar.

The year’s event included the presentation of FAB Awards and fashion showcases by designers including Mimi Lee London, Vonne and Orange Culture.

The red carpet was on FIRE with celebrities and socialistas from the world of fashion, music and media dominating the “pose zone”.

Look out for the full list of FAB Awards 2011 winners and lots more.

BN Faves

It was really difficult for us to pick our BN Faves as most guests played it safe and looked good!
Face of Sleek 2011 Alexandra Nwokedi stood out in a stunning MAI Atafo Inspired dress . The lace, the volume, the jewelled detail, the train – a lot is going on but somehow it all works.
Dont get us started on her hair…Love it!

Sometimes simple does the trick! Little Black Dresses paired with pumps are basically the Nigerian red carpet uniform, however, Ebun Aboderin injected freshness into her interpretation of the look. The layered statement necklace, the Farrah Fawcett-inspired hair and the “not-matchy-matchy” colour pops from her nails, shoes, bag and ring make the look.

We are so used to seeing Toolz in her trademark skintight dresses so it was a refreshing sight to see her try a new silhouette. We love the blend of colours and the peek-a-boo cleavage adds a sexy edge to her look.

Adora Oleh totally rocked this floor-length white dress by Bridget Awosika. After successful all-white looks by Tiwa Savage and Eva Alordiah at the 2011 Headies, Adora keeps the trend alive here…there was something regal about her look styled by Veronica Ebie-Odeka.

While so many ladies on the red carpet went with the obvious choice of pretty dresses, saucy minis and ankara looks, Honey Ogundeyi bucked the trend in her ensemble. As always, we love the infusion of menswear pieces with pretty detailing and stellar accessories. Honey’s Christian Louboutin St. Jeannette 120 spike sandals complete her look.

It’s Lynxxx and he looks good! Don’t you agree?

He may have interpreted the nautical theme a tad bit too laterally, however, Alex Ekubo‘s look at the 2011 FAB Night Out was crisp and fresh. Pristine white trousers and shoes, crisp striped shirt paired with a tailored blue blazer. Nice One.
