Leading Ladies presents Fashion Fantasia! A Fashion Show & Fundraising Event for Breast & Cervical Cancer Treatment & Awareness

On Friday 23rd December 2011, a benefit fashion show and fundraiser for breast and cervical cancer – Fashion Fantasia! will take place in Lekki, Lagos.

This benefit fashion show is aimed at raising funds to help the ongoing fight against breast and cervical cancer in Nigeria and it promises to be an exciting event with an excellent fusion of fashion, information and inspiration.

In conjunction with Bloom Cancer Care, there will also be an interactive session that provides additional information on breast and cervical cancer and a fundraiser to raise money for 100 women to benefit from Free Breast and Cervical screening.

According to the organizers “The rate at which young people, especially young women are being infected with cancer is very alarming, which is essentially why we’re using fashion as a platform to ensure that people realize just how important it is to get their monthly checks done. Early detection of any type of cancer helps increase the rate of survival and this is one of the key things we hope to re-iterate with this event.”

This event is one not to miss as some of Nigeria’s favorite designers – Marayah O, Ahdookeh, O’Eclat, Prisicilla Suchi Best of Suchille Clothings will showcase their pieces at the event. There will also be thrilling musical performances from various music acts, a presentation from the Bloom Cancer Care and a special celebrity runway segment were

• Christine Ben Ameh of Nokia First Chance
• Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi of Beat FM

and many young female celebrities will strut the runway.
