2012 Arise Magazine Fashion Week: Christie Brown presents “Xutra”

XUTRA: The artistic fashion world constantly feeds on freedom of expression and need for experimentation. it is only the forced control in “structure” that allows art to emphasize how sophistication and complexity in detail can co-exist with simplicity, discipline and bare bone basics. Underneath the asymmetric structures of the XUTRA garments, lives sheer fluidity and movement. Just as architectural plans serve a functional and aesthetic purpose, this collection showcases the true intention of both function and fashion: Multidimensional, yet wearable.
