With his G.O.O.D music deal and the building international success of “Oliver Twist”, we expect to see more and more of D’banj on stage and in international publications.

The Nigerian music star was interviewed by Ebony Magazine music journalist, Hillary Crosley after his concert in New York and everyone is buzzing about this interview.

Why?
Because of this quote…

Coming from Africa I’m my own manager, I have my own label called Mo’ Hits with my artists Dr. Sid, Wande Coal, Don Jazzy, D’Prince and K-Switch. I own Mo’ Hits and we’ve won numerous awards by the grace of God. Being with Kanye for the last eight months and me leading a successful label in Africa, I’ve learned a lot and I believe people will see what we’re going to do.

With the ongoing speculation about D’banj and longtime collaborator/business partner/friend Don Jazzy‘s supposedly strained relationship, this quote seems to add fuel to the fire.

Add that to the article published by respected Entertainment journalist, Ogbonna Amadi of the Vanguard Newspapers, fans are beginning to believe this tale. {Click to Read Article}
