Funke Akindele, Joseph Benjamin, “Kiss & Tell”, “Ghetto Dreamz”, & “Tango With Me” Lead Inaugural Nollywood Movies Awards Nominees List

After the successful launch of the Nollywood Movies Awards in November 2011, movie lovers and practioners have been waiting endlessly for the announcement of the nominees of its inaugural edition.

Now the wait is officially over. Leading the nominations list are Joseph Benjamin, Funke Akindele, Mahmood Ali-Balogun’s “Tango With Me” and Obi Emelonye’s “Mirror Boy”. We can’t help but wait patiently to see what our favourite movie stars would wear on the award show taking place at the Civic Centre, Lagos on Saturday 2nd June 2012.

The biggest names in the Nigerian movie industry were present at the event including award winning actress Ini Edo who spoke to Channels TV’s entertainment host about the Nigerian Movie industry, her career and her personal life.
