BN Exclusive: Massive Collaboration Alert! Naeto C & M.I Collaborate and Headline the 6th Edition of Hennessy Artistry

If like the rest of us here at BellaNaija.com, you have been waiting to see two of Nigeria’s favourite rappers – M.I. and Naeto C on a track together, then I bet you agree with me when I say “It’s about time!”.

This week, Hennessy Cognac – organizers of foremost Nigerian innovative musical platform – Hennessy Artistry, exclusively announced to us that Nigerian Hip-Hop heavy weights M.I. and Naeto C will be headlining the sixth edition of their annual music project.

Similar to last year’s edition, Hennessy Artistry 2012 will kick off with the release of the headliners’ collaboration track, after which a 22-stop Club Tour with rising artistes will follow. Hennessy Cognac is asking fans to nominate the artistes they would like to see perform at this year’s Club Tour  now, by going to www.facebook.com/HennessyNigeria. The 2012 Hennessy Artistry project will culminate in VIP events headlined by M.I and Naeto C.

In addition to what promises to be a superb Artistry year, lucky fans and consumers will be treated to a VIP session with the stars courtesy of Hennessy. Details of this competition will follow shortly.

Since Hennessy Artistry was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007, Hennessy Cognac has maintained its position as Nigeria’s and the world’s leading cognac brand. Hennessy Artistry in the meantime has evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a DJ battle, and now is an important platform for experimental collaborations among multi-talented artistes. Ice Prince, Nneka, Sir Shina Peters, Banky W, Eldee, Tiwa Savage and Mo’Cheddah have worked with Hennessy Artistry over the years. Other artistes include Bez, Kas and Jesse Jagz.
