Chocolate City Music rapper Jude Abaga, popularly known as Mr. Incredible (M.I) was knighted today as the UNODC’s Goodwill Ambassador on Smuggling of Migrants at an event held today in Abuja.

Smuggling has been defined as the procurement of such peoples into a State for financial or material benefit. Virtually every country in the world is affected by this crime; Nigeria is no exception.

M.I has been selected to speak against this vicious cycle. He serves as a role model capable of speaking powerfully against such smuggling. His journey in hip-hop within Africa stands to remind young men and women that even when the odds are stacked against you, persistence and hard-work pay off.

Speaking on his new appointment, M.I said it was “a huge honour and an incredible responsibility”.

We wish him the best in his new role!
