Lagos city’s best and brightest individuals in the nightlife and hospitality industry gathered on Wednesday 12th of December for the Club Bar and Restaurant (CBR Awards); the first ever event to celebrate, recognize, appreciate and reward the establishments and associates in the nightlife and hospitality industry. The event which took place at the Landmark Village, Victoria Island was supported by Chivas Regal and had the top executives from Pernod Ricard Sub-Sahara Africa present.
The event kicked off with a cocktail/champagne networking reception. Guests at the reception were served with well presented/rich sushi. The guests also witnessed the first ever master chef competition in Nigeria, while sipping on champagne at the networking reception.
This year’s event saw an influx of international clientele from all over the world. According to the Creative Director of CBR Awards Ola Alabi, “Lagos has always attracted the best the world has to offer, and that is only going to increase with the birth of CBR Awards“. The event showed appreciation to those establishments that exceed expectations of service, atmosphere, food and drink quality, presentation, customer service, and overall customer experience. Eighteen trophies from an initial list comprised of hundreds of nominees, which was narrowed down to between four and six per category, were handed out.
