BN Red Carpet Fab: Darey Art-Alade’s “Love Like A Movie” Concert

Darey Art-Alade‘s “Love Like A Movie” concert was one of the most anticipated shows during the Valentine’s Season. The star studded affair took place in style at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday 17th February 2013.

The critically acclaimed show was co-hosted briefly by American reality star Kim Kardashian. In attendance at the event include 2Face Idibia, Tiwa Savage, Chidi Mokeme, Toke Makinwa, Ramsey Nouah, Waje, Eku Edewor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Noble Igwe and DJ Caise.

Heating up the Scene in RED!
Billed to perform at the event, music star Waje arrived in a high neck red long sleeve dress. She also wore two gorgeous dresses for her performances. Which of her looks do you like best?

Fashion editor Franka Asindi-Chiedu arrived in red midi dress which features a bow-accented neckline. Sporting bangs, Franka accessorized with a multi-coloured chained clutch bag and nude heels.

Style veteran Nkiru Anumudu wore a long sleeve heart-print dress by Lanvin. Wavy locks, a pink pout, a red clutch and gold-and-black heels completes her look.

Tinsel actress Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi also rocked a red piece. She paired her outfit with chandelier earrings, a black clutch and neutral pumps.

Stylish Gents
Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah arrived at the show in a single button grey suit.

We’ve got lots of praises for Praiz in this black double button suit. A red paisley shirt, a black tie and shoes completes his look.

Who says men can’t wear sequins? DJ Xclusive definitely proves you he can in this single button blazer at the event.

Nigerian designer Kunbi Oyelese dazzled in a tribal sequined dress from her label, April by Kunbi.

On Twitter, TV presenter Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere announced that her Elegante by Tiannah Styling blue high neck dress and faux fur was inspired by the late Goldie. “Did it just like my Goldie would have wanted me to” she said. Her look was completed with a sleek up do, drop earrings, red clutch and heels.

Designer Ugonna Omeruo looked fab in a white blouse and print shorts. She accessorized with a statement neck piece, an ivory clutch and red heels.

Every Girl’s Go-to-Colour (Black)
Pregnant reality star Kim Kardashian rocked a leather mini dress.

We like Wana Sambo‘s play on the little black dress. The dress features floral prints on the sleeves and the neckline.

We haven’t seen former beauty queen Omowunmi Akinnifesi on the red carpet in a while but she came back in style in a black dress with a sheer plunging neckline.

The Red Carpet Double & Triple Effect
We can’t wait for the big day. Nigerian chanteuse Tiwa Savage in Stella McCartney and her fiancé Tee Billz were all smiles at the event.

We are not saying there are together but Studio 53 Extra co-host Eku Edewor and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu look like a perfect pair on the Love Like a Movie red carpet.

TV presenter Fade Ogunro rocked a sequined number while posing with EME star Shaydee.

Skales brought his lady love TJ to the event.

Can anyone tell us who Lami is posing with? The music star attended the event in a black dress with studded shoulders. She paired the outfit with pink sandals.

Nollywood star Emeka Ike rarely makes public appearances with his wife but at Darey Art-Alade’s Love Like a Movie Concert, he brought his better half. Emeka Ike wore a black single button suit while his wife donned a print blouse, blue skirt and red pumps.

Nigerian dance queen Kaffy arrived in a sequined blazer, black camisole, jeans and black pumps. She later changed to red outfit for her performance at the event. She posed with her uber cute son for the BN Glam Cam.

Trybe Recors CEO eLDee looked casual in a blue shirt and jeans.

Maria Okanrende rocked a black blazer, a black top and leopard print pants and black heels. Her look was completed with her pixie cut, red lips, a gold necklace and earrings and a black clutch.

Nigerian comedian Tee A also looked casual in a white shirt, jeans and brown shoes. What’s your take on his glasses?

Rap star Weird MC donned a head-to-toe black ensemble.
