BN Style presents “What To Wear”…to a Trendy Spring Wedding

Hi ladies! For this edition of BN Style presents “What To Wear” we are thinking ‘Weddings’. This season has already seen a splash of weddings almost every week, and you know we absolutely love weddings here at BellaNaija. So let us help you find the perfect outfit to get you Springtime ‘Owambe’ ready without sweating up a storm. Take a look at some suggestions that you could tap into to get you looking ‘ooh lala -ish’ for your next wedding invite. Yes, we know there is no spring in Nigeria, however, for this post, we were inspired by the gorgeous spring colors and style.

All the options you see below are all themed with one of the hottest trends this season; Graphics. They have been incorporated in fashion shows by Christopher Kane, Holly Fulton, Marc Jacobs and Mary Katrantzou. They’re all edgy, fresh and make you stand out from the crowd.

Option 1:

1: Origami Dress(Topshop) 2: Peach Wallet(Topshop) 3:Peach Sparkle Bracelet(Topshop) 4: Enamel C Hoop Earrings(Dorothy Perkins) 5:Grey Studded Shoes(Dorothy Perkins) 6: Heart Chain Cat Eye Sunglasses(Topshop)

A major reason why we love this dress is the patterns. The origami print gives the Peplum dress a nice texture and richness in the fabric. We decided to pair this with calm tones like the grey shoes and the peach wallet so the outfit has a more subtle look. Add a couple of dazzling jewelry and you’re ready to step out in style.

Option 2:

1: Sleveless Floral Print Shell Top(Topshop) 2: Wrap Maxi Skirt by Boutique(Topshop) 3: Cluster Cockyail Ring(Dorothy Perkins) 4: Red Scallop Bow Crossbody Bag(Dorothy Perkins) 5:Orange Stud Earrings (Topshop) 6:Ditswy Three row Pink Bracelet(Topshop) 7: DWENDA Courts(Topshop) 8:Polkadot Brow Sunglasses(Topshop)

This is definitely my favorite. Still following one of this season’s trends we paired a ‘flowy‘ white maxi skirt with a floral print top from Topshop. To accentuate and compliment the deep reds in the print we themed the accessories, from the shoes to the cocktail ring, to hold the look together.

Option 3:

1:Limited Edition Midi Dress(Topshop) 2:Art Deco Wrist Purse(Topshop) 3:Pastel Cocktail Ring(Dorothy Perkins) 4:Nude Curved back Wedges(Dorothy Perkins) 5:Diamond Stud Earrings(Topshop) 6:Preppy Clear Round Sunglasses(Topshop)

When I originally saw this dress I was immediately drawn to the beaded bodice. The pastel look is really in this season so why not go for a beautiful pastel green that has a pop of color and texture at the same time. We decided to pair this frock with a nude colored wedge heel to compliment the gold and brown in the beaded detail and still not take attention from the dress. Pair this with a pastel colored cocktail ring, a nude yellow wrist purse and some clear shades and you’re good to go.
