On Saturday, 2nd of March, 2013, The Red Kite Limited launched its highly anticipated new product website The Red Kite Honeymoons at Protea Westwood Hotel Awolowo Road, Ikoyi.

The event was attended by singles, engaged and married couples as well as Wedding industry professionals who were eager to know more about the product as it is a new concept in Nigeria and how, as the company promised “create a unique experience that would last a lifetime”.

In a warm and intimate ambience, the company’s CEO, Omotola Obagbemi gave a short presentation on the features of the very avant garde and user-friendly product website (www.theredkitehoneymoons.com) including its Honeymoon Gift Registry offering, which enables couples to have elements of their honeymoon paid for by family and friends as a gift. In a demonstration of her knowledge and the company’s vast repertoire, the presentation also featured an overview of over 50 Honeymoon destination offered by the company as well as its and Destination Weddings/Vow renewal offering.

The event was quite interactive with guests participating in a Trivia tagged ‘Spot the Landmark’ where people had to identify some of the most recognisable landmarks in the world and win prizes. For the first Honeymoon registry in Nigeria, it was a fun and educative morning session and the company looks forward to working with couples to achieve the honeymoon of their dreams.
