BN Pick Your Fave: Toke Makinwa & Efya in House of Marie

BellaNaija Style is kicking off April 2013 with another edition of BN Pick Your Fave.

Today we have Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa and Ghanaian songstress Efya battling it out for your fave in a dress by House of Marie.

The multi-coloured print dress which features an embellished lace neckline and fringe on the skirt, was the first look displayed by the Nigerian womenswear brand at the 2012 MTN Lagos Fashion and Design Week in October.

Toke Makinwa
On Thursday 7th February 2013, international make-up brand M.A.C Cosmetics launched in style at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Toke Makinwa who was among the star studded guest list, gave the dress its red carpet debut. The VHS presenter styled her frock with silver earrings, a silver ball ring, a gold wrist watch, a sequined clutch and a pair of blue spiked pumps.

She completed her look by letting her hair down and opting for pink lipstick, highlighted eye brows, smoky eyes and silver-and-grey nail polish.

Efya
Ghanaian singer Efya is fast becoming a style star. The Getaway singer gained the attention of style watchers when she dazzled in three outfits at the inaugural edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards in March.

Proving very much like a style star in 2013, Efya was recently spotted in this House of Marie print mini at Somi‘s 2 night “The Gratitude Tour” at Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos.

She accessorized the dress with a print scarf to show her hairstyle swept to the front, a gold bracelet and pink strap sandals. Just like Toke, Efya also wore pink lipstick and finished her look with canary yellow nail polish and an ankle bracelet.
