BN Bridal – Designer Alert: Francis Libiran
It has been a few weeks since the last edition of BN Bridal and we have a treat for you today!
We all love our conventional American and European bridal design labels. However, there has been a peaked interest in bridal designers from the Middle East, Israel and Philippines.
Francis Libiran is a Filipino designer who was at first an architect. The architectural influence is very apparent in his work – you can see the geometry and elaborate structure in his gowns. The designer attended the Fashion Institute of the Philippines once he found his passion – some time after his undergraduate degree.
His designs have been featured on America’s Next Top Model and on celebrity clients including Tyra Banks, and of course – brides. The designer often designs and tailors custom gowns for brides, his body of work – from real brides to haute couture pieces – we’ve seen is all too impressive. Enjoy!
