Last week, BellaNaija Movies & TV brought you the first photos from the 2013 Golden Icons Movie Awards (ICYMI, click here). Today, we have all the official photos and exclusive scoop from the event.

The 2nd edition of the annual awards ceremony took place on Saturday 19th October 2013 in Houston, Texas. Nollywood star/host of the show Ramsey Nouah arrived in a private helicopter, and was escorted to the Stafford Centre in a Mercedes-Benz S-class.

The helicopter was scheduled to land on the red carpet, but due to safety and permit issues in the last hour, they had to land across the street from the venue.

He got on stage with a James Bond theme opening song. Guests at the event include Fred Amata, Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Ramsey Nouah, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Yvonne Nelson, Gentle Jack, Pascal Atuma, Chet Anekwe, Charles Novia, Uti Nwachukwu, Dayo Amusa, Moses Inwang, Uru Eke, Mary Lazarus, Adjetey Anna, Emem Isong, Belinda Effah and Ikay Ogbonna.

Comedians including AY Makun, Seyi Brown and Jedi were present to deliver rib cracking jokes. Other performances include a musical presentation by Refugees and dance performances to P-Square‘s Personally and Alingo.

Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo was honoured for his achievements in the movie world. Lancelot Imasuen presented him the award.
