Nkiru Anumudu in Gucci at the “Butterscotch Evenings: The Next Level” Show in Lagos

Hello BellaNaija Style watchers, I hope you are having a great Monday afternoon.

We have loads of fashion fabulousity for you this week, and we are pretty sure it’s going to get you really talking.

On Saturday 9th November 2013, the anticipated Butterscotch Evenings: The Next Level show took place at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event featured performances by Grammy Award winning artistes Teddy Riley and Blackstreet as well as Sir Shina Peters, Tiwa Savage, Chidinma and CEO Dancers. Media personality Toolz hosted the event, which also featured a sumptuous 5-course dinner by international TV chef Alan Coxon.

And as always with Lagos guests, they brought their A-game with their ensembles.

Spotted at the event was Lagos style star Nkiru Anumudu.

Nkiru was a floral beauty on the red carpet in an azalea pink print dress from Gucci‘s Spring 2013 collection.

American model Joan Smalls displayed the dress which features bold dramatic ruffles on the shoulder and a key hole cut-out on the bodice during Milan Fashion Week.

Nkiru took a more demure approach; choosing to wear a white camisole instead of going bare on the red carpet like the model.

She styled the dress with gold stud earrings, a diamond cocktail ring, pearl bracelets, Judith Leiber “Carousel” clutch and the same pink Gucci shoes as the model.

Her look was completed with smokey eyes, pink lipstick and her signature fringe locks.
